Oh, Bite Me…one more time

Mid-July is rapidly approaching, and that means my first paranormal tiger shark shifter book will be disappearing from Amazon’s virtual shelf. The bad news is Kindle Worlds has been cancelled. The good news? I’m publishing the book all over again, but this time it will be under Milly Taiden’s own publishing house. How cool is that? While some of the Kindle Worlds authors left authors’ books lingering in limbo, never to be seen again, Milly was hard at work making sure her authors were taken care of.

Imagine writing a novel, or for some authors several novels, and then finding out they’d be unpublished with only a couple months notice. Sure, authors are able to re-publish their work as long as they take out everything linking their book to the main author’s series. Sounds easy, but imagine you built an entire series around an author’s characters, settings, main plot points and every other aspect that could tie your story to the main author’s world. This is the case with many Kindle Worlds authors. For some, it would be practically impossible to keep the story coherent after taking out all this key information. I have no idea what those authors will do. It must be a nightmare.

So thank God Milly is keeping it all together. Oh, Bite Me will disappear from Amazon soon, but it’ll be re-uploaded soon. This comes with some great advantages. Now, I’ll be able to bring paperback copies with me to book signings. That wasn’t the case with Kindle Worlds. The book will also be available in foreign countries. With Kindle Worlds, it was only available in the U.S.

So, while Milly Taiden begins building her new empire, I’ll be working feverishly on the second tiger shark shifter book in my Guardians of the Deep story line for Milly’s Paranormal Dating Agency series.
