Praise to Reviewers
“It appears to be his debut novel, which makes it all the more impressive.”
Grant Leishman blog.
A big thanks to all reviewers who took the time to read and write about my debut novel. I am going to be adding them here as they come. Click on the pictures to read the review.

And don’t forget to buy my book, of course:

Writing a Book is Much More Than Just Writing a Book
First of all, my #SFF novel is available to purchase on Amazon! If you like my writing style, please check it out.
I don’t think most people realize much work we have to put on our novels until and after they’re published. I know I didn’t. I thought that after finishing the first draft, everything else would be easy.

Oh boy, how wrong I was. The first draft is a lot of work, but it’s only the first step.
But don’t get me wrong. I love every single part of this journey, even the *gasp* editin...
Pre-order link is up! Also, Writing a Book is Much More Than Just Writing a Book
First of all, my #SFF novel pre-order link (kindle edition) is available to purchase on Amazon! If you like my writing style, please check it out. Print edition link should be available around release date (and it has 374 pages).

ARC reviewers
Note: I’m saving this post for posterity, but I’m not looking for ARC reviewers anymore.
And thanks for all the courageous reviewers that accepted my offer.
Hey folks, if you have been following my blog and liked my writing style, please contact me for an advanced reader/review’s copy of CHALLENGES OF THE GODS, to be published by The Wild Rose Press.
The fine print: I understand there’s no guarantees you’re going to actually review my novel if you read it, or that any reviews from it will be...
Looking for ARC reviewers
Hey folks, if you have been following my blog and liked my writing style, please contact me for an advanced reader’s copy of CHALLENGES OF THE GODS, to be published by The Wild Rose Press.
The fine print: I understand there’s no guarantees you’re going to actually review my novel if you read it, or that any reviews from it will be necessarily positive.
I’m originally from Brazil, my first language is Portuguese, and I was told by many readers that I have a unique storytelling style.

DIY COVER REVEAL: CHALLENGES OF THE GODS
[image error]I had an interesting conundrum this week. Bloggers are supposed to have a three-day exclusive when doing a cover reveal for authors. So I asked myself for the same deal but, sadly, I said no.
As a result, this is not an exclusive story. But at least here I can add all my sassy comments, unfunny puns, and, perhaps, also help other people who want to create media for their own cover reveals.
And don’t worry, it’s actually easier than it looks! There are some powerful and easy tools that do most...

Thank you, Editors!
The cover reveal of my debut #SFF novel CHALLENGES OF THE GODS is happening tomorrow.
But today, I want to recognize the work of my editors.
A big thanks to Kisa Whipkey, who helped me create depth and make the story more interesting. Thanks to Mica Scotti Kole who helped me trim the story, name things, and work on the inner dialogue. And of course, thanks to Dianne Rich from The Wild Rose Press. With her feedback, I was able to trim the word count and greatly improve my world building.

A Book Is Worth A Hundred Thousand Words
Three years ago I wrote a book, and I thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. Oh boy, how wrong I was. The novel’s premise was solid, but I had to learn a lot about writing before I could make it shine. So I spent the next years learning about adverbs, show versus tell, passive voice, tenses, etc. But the hardest lesson to learn was that people giving me constructive feedback did not actually hate me.
