D.K. Daniels writes contemporary/realistic fiction with both teen and college-aged characters aimed at an LGBTQ+ audience. His novels often stem from an isolated high-school career and rational outlook on life. For the most part, the stories he writes are about young people finding their way in a noisy world.

When D.K. is not writing, he camps and hikes in many countries across the world, and is a major film and game enthusiast. He spends way too much time listing to Indie Folk, giving his dog belly rubs, and tapping away on an old typewriter in the backyard.
