A near perfect time-travel/time-slip story. Lovable flawed characters who eventually find a way to make their world right. This one is a winner.

I’ve only ever read one other Sanderson novel and that one spent too much time world building for my taste. His writing is excellent, but I like a faster pace and Tress provided that. Delightfully done! Highly recommend.

Heather Fawcett is a new favorite and an auto-read for me. I adore her brand of cozy fantasy and so look forward to whatever she writes next. Flawed heroes, neurotic heroines, and always some feline or canine companion to love. Be still my heart.
