EMPATHY: Madrugada to be Released this Friday
It’s (almost) here! This Friday will mark the public release of EMPATHY: Madrugada, a choose-your-own-destiny game set in the EMPATHY-verse. I had the chance to debut the game at the book launch party for Imminent Dawn last Friday, and those who played had a great—though challenging—time helping Chandra escape the Human/Etech research compound.
Launch party attendees had the chance to test EMPATHY: MADRUGADA, a choose-your-own-destiny game set in the EMPATHY universe.So get excited! Here’s some more of what you can expect from the game as you play.
Escape the compound as Chandra, the art-school dropout!

Thank You! – An Imminent Dawn Launch Party Recap
I want to thank everyone who came out to show their support at Friday’s book launch party for Imminent Dawn! We had a really wonderful turnout, and I had a blast catching up with old friends and making some new ones as well.

Coming Soon – EMPATHY: The Game!
At this Friday’s book launch party for Imminent Dawn, I’ll be debuting the beta version of a choose-your-own-path-style game tentatively titled EMPATHY: Madrugada.
If all goes well based on feedback received during the launch event, I’ll be releasing the game shortly thereafter!
In anticipation of the beta’s release, here are some screenshots from the game in its current state.

UW Writers Success Story: Imminent Dawn and Mourning Dove
Wahoo! We’ve got another boost for the EMPATHY series featured on the official home of the University of Wisconsin Continuing Studies in Writing. In this short blurb, they detail the status of the first two books in the series.
As it mentions in their post, I’ll also be speaking at this year’s UW Writers’ Institute, leading four sessions and participating in Friday’s success panel. I’ll also have books available during Saturday’s bookstore.
