“Merit is one of the best heroines I have ever come across. . .”
Thanks to the fine folks at Happy Ever After/USA Today for including the Chicagoland Vampires in today’s “‘Tis the Season for Fangs and Flirting” feature. Here’s a bit of what they said: Why you should read this series: When I picked up the first book, Some Girls Bite, I was expecting a cookie-cutter vampire book [...]

You had me at “last night.”
If I’m interested in a book by an unfamiliar author, I usually glance at the first few sentences to ensure I dig his/her writing style. The Books in the Chicagoland Vampires Series, Described in a Single Word
Backstory: I assign each of the hub’s video games a one-word nickname. Friday Night Bites = Dresses Twice Bitten = Growls Hard Bitten = Tears Drink Deep = [...]

I am definitely on an Amazon River exploration kick! 2. Training for my first run, the Chicago Hot Chocolate 5K [...]

More books?
Hello, everyone! I’m busily finishing the first round of HOUSE RULES edits, and I thought I’d take a moment to answer the two most common questions I’ve been getting lately. 1. Will there be any more books in the Dark Elite series? There are three books in the Dark Elite series (FIRESPELL,HEXBOUND, andCHARMFALL. THE DARK [...]
