My inspiration came from a bus driver my kids had for a few days (years ago). The only problem—he doesn't think he's good enough for strait-laced Claire. So he focuses on her son, Owen, helping him be the best football player he can be.

And when he offers her his fire-department issued hoodie? All bets are off...
