Have You Heard the One About...?

I've got a new obsession. I'm listening to Anton Lesser reading Little Dorrit. Lesser's impersonation of the different voices is so virtuosic that I think it's better than reading it myself. I'm on disc 14 of 28. That's a mere warm-up for War and Peace (51 discs).

Of course, I've had to give up writing and family life of any kind, but that's a small price to pay.

 

On the Road

We're appearing tonight at the Reading Festival of Crime Writing (which must be, incidentally, the world's most difficult literary festival to google - think about it. A bit like googling one of my favourite rock bands of the eighties, The The.). 

And on Tuesday morning we're at the Hampstead and Highgate Literary Festival. So if you want to take the day off work...
