"I'm somehow both numb to the ways they damaged me & so painfully aware of how I'll never be. the same all at once"

Okay just wow. This collection is powerful and compelling. It definitely gave me such an 'Amanda Lovelace' feel/vibe but unique in even if you aren't a fan of hers you will love it. It was just a beautiful collection overall.

"...I feel like a poem injected into my skin. but isn't that what art is? losing one thing and replacing it with another."

This is just one of the lines from this beautiful collection of poetry. It follows the theme of colors and self expression throughout the book. Each poem painting a picture of how this author fell in love with herself and her partner, it is truly a wonderful journey. I would recommend this to anyone looking for inspirational and insightful poetry.

This short novella was sexy and sweet. Call me biased but I loved every page. Hart is one of my favorite writers and this book did not disappoint.

Teach Me by J.R. Rogue

5/5 stars

This was the perfect balance of sexy and sweet. The way it started off and the way it ended was so different than what i expected but I’m so glad. Rogue surprises me and makes me fall in love with Sophie and Sloane and the beautiful ending to this trilogy

I really love Madi and Travis’ relationship. Their personalities flowed so well and I fell in love with their story. Without saying too much, you want to root for them from the beginning. This book had a lot of really good elements that kept the book moving. I honestly never know what’s going to happen next when reading one of Victoria Ellis’ novels. The only thing I would’ve wanted was more of Madi and Travis!! The ending was good but maybe a tad abrupt, it left me wanting more. But overall I would recommend it to anyone who likes romance novels but also fans of Nicholas Sparks books.

This may be one of my favorite novels I’ve read this year. It was dreamy and soft and beautiful. A heart wrenching story that keeps you on your toes to the very end. Every time I thought I knew what was coming next, I was happily surprised. This is a love story like no other. It was honestly breathtaking and heartbreaking. You fall in love with the story and never want it to end. Wow. Wow. Wow.

The House Keeper

The House Keeper by Natalie Barelli

I honestly didn’t know what to expect, I grabbed this book because of a book club and figured it couldn’t be bad. Immediately I was hooked! You are given some background about the main character, Claire and you feel bad for her. She was a victim of something out of her control but the more you read, you realize there always is more to the story. I would’ve read it all in one sitting if i wasn’t so busy. You get sucked into the characters, the story that is so eccentric you can’t believe it but you’re also attached. I read a chapter every chance I got just because I loved it so much. It was honestly amazing. There was so many times I thought the story was going to end but then I got dragged back in. Every twist and turn you truly don’t expect the ending but I loved it.
