Thank Yous and New Schedule

"Hey, Patti!  Where ya been?"  I've been getting alot of that in my email box from readers.  Thank you all for your concern about my absence.  It's so sweet of you and touching.  Those of you who are anxiously waiting for the first Copper Canyon, Boo and Lindy's Echo Falls short story and the next two Parson Corners sequels - well, a little thing like pneumonia got in my way.  That was definitely not on the production list!  Work schedule is backed up about 6 weeks - 8 weeks, if you consider I HAVE to have a daily nap now.  :-)

But, Copper Canyon #1 is coming soon - (by St. Patrick's Day):

And Copper Canyon #2 - Cowboy's Sweetheart will be out May 11th, 2012.

Next up, Boo and Lindy's Matchmaking Adventure has been rescheduled to March 24, 2012.

For those Parson Corners fans,  Secret Daddy has been moved back to April 20, 2012.

Finally, Five-Star Wife will be coming your way June 1, 2012 - Wyatt's book.  And never fear - Ryder and Beau's books will come your way in 2013.

And if my fingers are crossed behind my back - well, it's only because this pneumonia stuff has been incredibly hard to shake.  Let's think positive, though!

If you won copies of these in my Christmas giveaway, please accept my sincere apology for the delay.

~~ARCHIVED~~

February 6, 2013

Greetings y'all!

I've changed the purpose of The Clever Writer blog.  I'll now be posting about Indie Publishing issues here and will gradually be filling in content that discusses my Indie Publishing journey and shares with you all I've learned.  My Patti Ann Colt website now hosts my blog for following my book releases and posts about my book writing adventures - Patti Ann Colt.

In the meantime, this post marks the spot where the change over occurred.  All previous posts will gradually disappear as I move them to my other blog.

Great Romance Reads Day

I'm ready for a new reading year. How about you?

Cleaning up from Christmas, I noted that my to-be-read pile is stalled. I either keep adding to it or I'm not reading enough. I'm guessing that's not an 'or' situation. I do keep adding to it and I am not reading enough. Not only is there a physical to-be-read pile numbering in the hundreds, but there are dozens on two kindles waiting. (Yes, got a Kindle Fire for Christmas! And yes, it came with a gift card which I already used and added books!)

I thought it would be fun to close out this year with your comments on the best reads of 2011 or something you are anticipating reading in 2012. Feel free to post as many times as you want as great reads occur to you!

Happy New Year, my friends!

Advent Begins

Christmas is always a big time at my house. This I credit my mother for - because she was a huge decorating fanatic, cooking holiday food guru, and just plain enthusiastic supporter of Jesus. Family and church, presents and food were all of the utmost importance and I've taken those beliefs and traditions and implanted them into my own life. I hope you have your own, as well. Because there is no other season like Christmas - for its hope and goodwill.

This year I'll be celebrating the season with a very special publication - Advent Meditations. My brother, Mark, is a naturopathic doctor and an ordained United Methodist minister. For the Advent season, he wrote a daily devotional. It's available on Amazon for Kindle/Fire, Barnes and Noble for Nook, KLGPress for epub version to upload to iPad and Smashwords.

I had the opportunity to read the book prior to publication and can truthfully tell you I will be reading again through the Advent season. His simple, thoughtful daily comments don't take long to read, but the ideas and sentiment stay with you all day long.

So if you need something to touch your heart, to make a difference in your spiritual life, please visit your favorite eReader source for your copy. It's also available in Print on Amazon. Thank you.
