New Release! Wrapped Up in You

Wrapped Up in You is NOW AVAILABLE! Romance and suspense wrapped up with a Christmas ribbon!

A runaway bride returns home to the man she left behind in this suspenseful, second-chance romance.

Homesick and tired of running from her past, Callie Douglass returns home to Kentucky for the holidays determined to start over. She craves forgiveness and a second chance with the man she left behind, but tragic circumstances may prevent her from receiving those gifts this holiday season.

After a tragedy rocks his family, Bo Macklin wants peace and quiet this holiday season. A retired pro quarterback, Bo plans to wear his game face as long as it takes to convince Callie that he has moved on, but ignoring his feelings turns out to be more difficult than any game he ever played.

Wrapped up in a murder investigation and caught in the crosshairs of merry matchmakers, will Bo and Callie find their way back to each other, or will a murderer kill their second chance at happiness?

Friday Fun Fact

Let’s talk writing process. My writing process has varied for each book I’ve written so far. In the past, ideas, characters, or scenes have ignited my imagination and fueled my writing process. The process for my first book began with an idea—a famous TV chef visiting a small town and falling for…Well, you know the story. I created, or built, the story around that one idea.

While writing Maybe Someday , the first scene I wrote for the book was a rough rendering of the “grand romantic gesture” chapter. That chapter appears toward the end of the story despite being the first scene written. Inspiration struck after watching Pride and Prejudice (yes, it’s a favorite) one night, and I decided one of my male characters was destined to wear a pair of very vintage pants…

Grab your copy of Maybe Someday to learn more about the “grand romantic gesture” chapter and which of my characters wore those vintage pants!  Picture
