Book Review: First Came Happiness, Then Comes Lollipops! Jacqueline Pirtle’s New Book Offers Up, Parenting Skills Using A Tasty Treat!
…Jacqueline is ALL about us feeling, sensing, smelling and tasting the things around us, whether they be objects such as a lollipop or breathing in the glorious air. Everything has an energy attached to it; we just have to open our arms, minds, and hearts to be aware of it.
…“Lollipops have this incredible power to shift us to BE and live in a frequency of magic – because that is the energy they carry and the frequency they vibrate in.” ~ Jacqueline Pirtle, Author – Parenting Through the Eyes of Lollipops
…Even if you don’t have teenagers and you have little ones who are a year old, just starting school or even if they’re adults. Jacqueline has a chapter for it – even if you don’t have a child yet.
…I found Jacqueline’s book quite interesting as it’s not a book filled with “me” time locations and ideas for parents, whom are at their wits ends with their kids. However, it’s a book about parents actually listening and feeling the energy of their own child and giving them a space to be anxious and creative, while giving them a voice to be heard. This, in turn, takes the anxiety off of the parent and allows the children to just “BE” themselves.
“Let your children know, whether born or unborn that they too are wonderful and magnificent just as they are. Let them know that they are here in this life to “BE” themselves – nothing else.” Jacqueline Pirtle, Author – Parenting Through the Eyes of Lollipops
…AS SHE SAID IT BEST —
Let is all go like old dirt blows off a car when driven forward with speed. Leave a BIG BLACK TIRE MARK that says ENOUGHHHH!!! Let it ALLLLL GOOOOOOOO!!!
…Jacqueline’s book “Parenting Through the Eyes of Lollipops” is another sweet, satisfying and soulful read by the author who challenges us all to think, feel, taste and smell the world around us. Whether you’re thinking about having kids or already raising some of your own, Jacqueline’s imagery of it all is well worth the read.
…I didn’t even touch all the greatness this book has to offer especially the chapters “Tweenhood & Teen hood” I couldn’t wait to get to this chapter…lol, “Feeling Good as My Highest Priority” & “Food Stories.”

Welcome Home Happiness – A Journey with the Book 365 Days of Happiness
…Now, my journey with Jacqueline Pirtle’s book is far from over but the notable improvements that this book helps me to recognize is a life improvement that I didn’t believe was possible.
…By using 365 Days of Happiness, I am slowly training my brain to a new ‘usual’. My new normal is more positive or as the book suggests a happy way of living. Each day’s mindful task, exercise or thought stays with me through my day. It’s my sword against negativity and my best means of defense while I work to train myself to this positive way.
…This is one of those books that has the ability to touch those who read it. It’s meant to be a friend to your daily life and it sure did come to my aid over the few months it’s been by my side. It’s not a book to just read, its one to practice. With an opened mind and personal effort, this book can be the start of bringing you to that happy place you’ve been looking for.
…In more ways than one the book catchy slogan, “because happiness is a piece of cake” means so much. While at the start the phrase seems impossible it doesn’t stay that way. 365 Days of Happiness makes that very big promise something anyone can grasp. With the progress I have made since beginning my reading, I too can confirm that happiness can be a ‘piece of cake’ with the daily reminders from 365 Days of Happiness.
Thanks so much for reviewing my book!

Parenting Through the Eyes of Lollipos – Book Review
Thanks Anna Maria Polidori for your honest thoughts on my new book
Parenting Through the Eyes of Lollipops!
…As Jacqueline writes with the narrating voice of the child, this one could be the portrait of the arrival of a kid:
“Yes, there was a time before me. Oh what a glorious time that was, you might think—but no matter how much fun you had in your life before me, it’s more fun now, because either I am already here or am about to arrive. And because of me, everything is so much richer in vividness. I am excited to enjoy through you what you already have experienced, and can’t wait to fill the gaps of what you have not experienced yet.”
…The author indicates three pillars of parenting: The Harmonious Dance, It Is Never The Child, and The Love Cycle of Parenthood.
First of all it’s indispensible a positive approach.
…I thought that I was weird because sometimes I talk alone. Well, it’s a comforting idea, the suggestion of Jacqueline:
“Talk to your food! Talk to the air! Talk to the sun, moon, and sky! Talk to the rain! Talk to your shoes! Make chatting with everything out loud a common practice with your children. Not only is this loads of fun, you also are playing with the universal law that everything is energy, the same energy, and sharing its energies at all times—and that all energy carries information and knowledge for whoever is inclined to listen. Your environment has so much to give to you—open wide and allow this expansion of experiences to fill you and your children in every new split second of your life.”
…Parenting through the eyes of Lollipops means see this process through the eyes of children:
“When I am grumpy, BE that lollipop for me! When I am tired, BE that lollipop for me! When I am mean, BE that lollipop for me! When I am unfair, BE that lollipop for me! When I am hangry, BE that lollipop for me! When I am a wild rebel child, BE that lollipop for me! All other joyous times, I AM the lollipop for you!”
This book offers advice for every sphere of the daily existence of a family.
Highly recommended.
