LMM 384: Pulling Strings

“School?” Jacques echoed faintly.

“New Saga High School. Same place Isla and Akira went.”

“So you’re leaving?”

“For a bit.” Nonny fit his arms around Jacques and held t...

“Are you going to leave me in suspense?”

“Might do. It’d serve you right.” There wasn’t much sas...

Showing Up. The digital short story that’s releasing next week (4/4) is now showing up in other venues, like Barnes & Noble and Kobo. If you shop somewhere other than Amazon, you can probably pre-order Songs of the Amaranthine, #8 now!

Nonny found him sleepless in the naproom.

“Thought you were going to be with Lapis,” he quietly accused.

“Changed my mind.” Jacques wasn’t exactly hiding. ...

One Week to Go

Flattered by Flowers (Songs of the Amaranthine #8). The short story will release next Monday, and for those who pre-order, that often means it’ll show up on your e-reader the evening before. (As an avid reader & frequent pre-orderer, I’ve come to adore Release Eve deliveries!)

Yesterday, I put the finishing touches on ALL the uploads, including the anthology, which is off to the printer. This time around, I created back ads for my Patreon exclusive stories:

As you probably know b...

“It’s later,” prompted Canarian, who’d kneaded Jacques into a blissful fog.

“Hmm?”

“What inspired your earlier oath to the Maker?” He quietly reminded,...

Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the one who’s impressed.

I Must Protest

To Jacques’ increasing mystification, Cat coaxed Nonny into his arms, and their exchange continued well beyond a simple apology.

“He’s good,” Canarian murmured admiringly...

Apologizing to Cat

After much dawdling, Nonny sent Jacques one last, longing look, clearly hoping for a reprieve.

Jacques simply nodded.

Resignation turned to resolve, and Nonn...

Bard & Barbarian

Twinkle Press Presents | art by FoxOfTwilight

Narrated Edition. Bard and Barbarian has been posting slow and steady over on my Patreon account. Reading along is great, but supporters on some tiers can now listen along. Ch27, “Looking After” just went live for those in qualifying tiers. AND Ch23, “Lullaby Boy” just unlocked for the Twinkle and Sparkle tiers.

New narrated chapters will arrive every other Wednesday, which means … there’s always something more to look forward to! Lear...

Typesetting Peek

Flattered by Flowers: The Anthology. My next print edition has hit the final stage of production. I’m in the process of typesetting the second Songs of the Amaranthine anthology, which will release on May 22, 2022. Here’s the excerpt I chose to lead into the titular tale:
