LMM 448: Compare Notes
Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the one with a schedule to keep.

“They’ve added several new words to the French dictionary!” Isla was now fluent enough to talk at full speed. “Most are specific to the In-between, and I need to know...

Bard & Barbarian

Narrated Edition. Bard and Barbarian has been posting slow and steady over on my Patreon account. Reading along is great, but supporters on some tiers can now listen along. Ch34, “Earning Epithets” just went live for those in qualifying tiers. AND Ch30, “Safely Stabled” has unlocked for the Twinkle and Sparkle tiers.

New narrated chapters will arrive every other Wednesday, which means … there’s always something more to look forward to! Learn more about my Patreon here >>

Latching the valise, Jacques eyed Argent critically. “You won’t leave this house until Tsumiko tidies your hair.”
His lordship managed to look beleaguered.
“Bid her adieu. I’...

Do you enjoy mail?
Patreon Teaser. Just in case you didn’t know, one of the perks my patrons receive is good old-fashioned mail. And more and more, I’ve been having cards printed with art, book quotes, and even original story snippets. While I can’t exactly mail out moonbeams for everyone, July’s mailings are Churlish-themed. You see, my topmost tiers will be receiving Quarterly Bubble Mailers this month (“contents subject to whim”), and I decided on custard cups and silver spoons.

LMM 445: Valise

Jacques chivvied Argent to his closet. “Fresh shirt!”
“This one is fine.”
“That tunic is barely acceptable even when it is clean.”
Argent glanced down, possibly fo...

Bard & Barbarian

Updated! Bard & Barbarian has updated over on my Patreon with Ch45, “Over Chowder.” Because this public house is famous for their chowder. Everyone orders it. (Okay, yeah, the chowder is pretty incidental. Other stuff happens. I promise.)

ART: Not Too Outre
Jacques Smythe of the Uppington Smythes. You thought we were DONE with the Lord Mettlebright’s Man cover reveal? Non, mes amis! Because a few days ago, I realized that Jacques could (and should) dress the part during his cover reveal. Many thanks to Fox for turning around a celebratory portrait in short order!

...If Jacques was doing this, he’d do it his own way. He preferred some tousle in his turn-out and flop in his foppery. —Lord Mettlebright’s Man
Cover Reveal: Lord Mettlebright’s Man
Pride Month Finale. I’ve been saving up something special for the last day of June. You see, I’m planning ahead for the publication of Lord Mettlebright’s Man, which should reach “The End” in 2023. There will be print & digital editions. Travis is booked to do the audio (and forewarned about the unusual storytelling format). A bonus short story is planned so there’ll be new material. And naturellement, we needed a new book cover.

I am pleased.
While the trim size of these books will b...

“This one knows what she needs,” crooned Sansa.
“People generally do,” remarked Adoona-soh.
Jacques risked a glance. Sure enough, Adoona was looking right at Sonnet, w...
