Countdown to Songs 3
One More Week. Dragged through Hedgerows should be showing up for pre-order in ALL the places now, so go secure your copy of the next short story in the Songs of the Amaranthine collection. It’s another stand-alone story, but like the others, it’ll contribute to your knowledge of the clans and their customs.
As you may have gathered from the summary, this one’s much more contemporary. Here’s a teaser!

LMM 56: Kidnapper
Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially for the one who ran to what the other’s running from.
Chapter Fifty-Six: Kidnapper
“Why?” puffed Jacques, once they’d gained the garden. “Why’re you scared?”
Nonny wriggled and pushed. “Fox is why.”
That was a bother.

LMM 55: Done a Runner
Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially for the one who asserts his dominance.
Chapter Fifty-Five: Done a Runner
Argent appeared suddenly, as if he’d been leaning against the door this whole time. He relieved Adoona-soh of a tawny-tailed toddler who hissed and b...
Strong Like My Coffee
Enamel Pins. I’ve mentioned before that I have a friend who always gives me an enamel pin to celebrate my stories. For Tamiko and the Two Janitors, I was given two (since there are two couples). I already showed you the black feather. Here’s the other:

LMM: Goals
Eight Hundred. If I were to carefully spin out Lord Mettlebright’s Man so that it reaches 800 chapters, it would be the perfect length to create a print edition. These drabbles may well become your eyes on behind-the-scenes events at Stately House (or at least those that interest Jacques) over the course of the main series. Expect future time skips as our brazen butler tries to keep up.
LMM 54: Prat
Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially for the one who just got marm’d.
Chapter Fifty-Four: Prat
The child mumbled, “Yessir. And these.” With fatalistic resolve, the boy lifted his leg, displaying a cloven hoof. As if expecting screams or censure.
Jacques was to...

Grand Opening!
Threadless. It’s official. Twinkle Press has a storefront on Threadless, and we chose today (my fanniversary) as opening day. We kicked off with a few things: T-shirts, mugs, and tote bags. We’ll probably be adding new designs at regular intervals. Brainstorming has been fun. (Feel free to suggest stuff!)

Fun Fact: I wroted that m’self. Verrah proud.
Concerted Effort
Unexpected. While I still maintain that they’re entirely different stories, there’s no denying the details I borrowed from myself when creating Tamiko and the Two Janitors. All in fondness and fun. Here’s an old commission from back when Unexpected was updating regularly.

Camphor & Kouki
New Chapter! As part of my fandom anniversary celebrations, I decided to update Camphor & Kouki, which is a crossover between My Neighbor Totoro and Mushishi. I don’t update it nearly as often as I could if I wasn’t … y’know … writing the Amaranthine Saga & Songs of the Amaranthine stories. ::shifty eyes::

Summary: Ginko regrets using the Uroana as a shortcut. He’s having trouble pinpointing where he’s come out, and he’s at a loss on how to get back. But in the meantime, perhaps he can do so...
