Twitter Poll
Commissioning Art. I haven’t done a Twitter poll in a while, but I’ve been inspired by one of my resolutions for 2020. I want to commission at least one piece of art every month, either of characters or scenes from my stories. Certainly a splurge. But it’s a treat I can share. Options are manifold, so I thought a poll would be fun. Who do you think is most “deserving” of art?

Mood Stripes 127: Halfhearted
Disclaimer: I do hereby disclaim all rights and responsibilities for the characters in this audacious adventure… especially for the unchanged one. A nod of recognition is bent towards Rumiko Takahashi for her creative prowess.
Chapter 127: Halfhearted
“Bring the light closer,” ordered Sesshoumaru.
“Oi,” protested Inuyasha, though his voice lacked its underlying growl. “I told you I don’t like being stared at.”
But the tucked chin lifted, and violet eyes glared halfheartedly.
Sesshoumaru had...
Four Favorites: Anime Categories
I watch a lot of anime. Probably not a shock, right? It’s the whole reason I’m even around. My first forays into fiction writing were in an anime fandom. But my whole world doesn’t revolve around InuYasha. I’ve watched scores of anime across a wide variety of genres. People sometimes ask me for recommendations, which I find difficult. I mean, I can’t just say, “You’ll love this!” because I did. Expectations vary. As do tastes.
This year, one of my little resolutions is to talk more about the...

LMM 105: Excellent References
Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the daring one.
Chapter One Hundred Five: Excellent References
Jacques was less concerned with who did the catching, so long as the outcome was mutually satisfactory. Relinquishing his death grip, he dared to rest his head...
Bard & Barbarian
Chapter 3 is live on Patreon. Telling a story in snippets is one of my favorite challenges. This installment is titled “Enter the Sun Elf.” More details about Bard & Barbarian and about becoming a patron on this post >>

Mood Stripes 126: Empty
Disclaimer: I do hereby disclaim all rights and responsibilities for the characters in this audacious adventure… especially for the one in transition. A nod of recognition is bent towards Rumiko Takahashi for her creative prowess.
Chapter 126: Empty
“This it?” Inuyasha asked when they reached the cave Sango had found.
Kirara mewed and primly wrapped her tails around her paws.
Kagome, who’d had to pick her own way through the underbrush, lifted their lantern. “Empty?”
“Not sure,” he grudgingly...

LMM 104: The Catch
Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the one who likes to be clear.
Chapter One Hundred Four: The Catch
“You are remarkably unremarkable.”
Jacques dragged his attention from all the down. “Was that compliment or criticism?”
Argent shook his head. “An ordinary...

Mood Stripes 125: Remembered
Disclaimer: I do hereby disclaim all rights and responsibilities for the characters in this audacious adventure… especially for the scrappy one. A nod of recognition is bent towards Rumiko Takahashi for her creative prowess.
Chapter 125: Remembered
“That okay?” Inuyasha checked.
Sesshoumaru still had him by the sleeve, rubbing absently at the sturdy fire-rat. “This belonged to Father.”
“Oh. Yeah.” What else could he say? “Myoga told me.”
“Hnn.” And more softly, “I remember it.”
Inuyasha found...
