LMM 155: Argent, Tsumiko, Michael, Sansa

Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the close-knit ones.

Argent, Tsumiko, Michael, Sansa

On the beach below, a picnic blanket and umbrella were arranged. Sansa and Isla paddled in the shallows, giving Annika and Mei a swimming lesson. How they’d pried Mei fr...

Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the noteworthy one.

Unconfined to Quarters

“I’m not supposed to be seen.”

Jacques wasn’t impressed. “You’re sitting in plain sight.”

Hiding in plain sight. It’s surprisingly effective for someone like me. Say, what tipped...

Mood Stripes 168: Secure

Disclaimer: I do hereby disclaim all rights and responsibilities for the characters in this audacious adventure… especially for the steady one. A nod of recognition is bent towards Rumiko Takahashi for her creative prowess.

Chapter 168: Secure

“Oi,” hissed Inuyasha from below, trying not to interrupt Miroku.

“I have her.” Kohaku’s arm slid around Kagome’s waist, steadying her.

She hadn’t noticed him climbing after her. All her concern was for Sesshoumaru’s feelings, but the first faint bloom of ...

“What? Oh, right.” Jacques touched his forehead. Apparently, whatever magic Hisoka had traced there was still in force, despite Jacques’ rigorous skin care regimen. “You’r...

Reaver Classifications

Ward. The first reaver classification readers of the Amaranthine Saga encounter is ward, which is a bit of a catch-all category. Lots of subsets, depending on aptitudes and affinities. In a very general sense, wards are capable of crafting sigils.

“Please, call me Michael. Ward is really more of a job description than a surname.”

“You’re a … ward?” That brought up unsettling images of wardens and prisoners. “I thought you were Aunt Eimi’s driver.”

“That’s certainly why I’m behind the wh...

Uninvited

With a graceful wave, the stranger said, “These are not the droids you are looking for.”

Jacques blinked. “Pardon?”

“Ignore me.”

But this Amaranthine was difficult to ignore. Youngish...

He strolled toward a line of festive ban...

Mood Stripes 167: Reckless

Disclaimer: I do hereby disclaim all rights and responsibilities for the characters in this audacious adventure… especially for the sweetheart. A nod of recognition is bent towards Rumiko Takahashi for her creative prowess.

Chapter 167: Reckless

Kagome clambered recklessly, hoping she wasn’t hurting Sesshoumaru any more than he already was. Her light blazed into one scarlet eye. His pupil narrowed, and the stripes vanished from his fur, surprise pulling him out of a darkening mood.

When had she ...

As sunset neared, Michael and Sansa came down to the beach.

Listening ears.

Each gathered up a weary boy. Gingko and Suu...
