Unprepared Healer is now on audiobook!

After the Assimilation System inadvertently outed Thaden asa Contender, as well as confirming that he was at the top of most of theRankings, the Lifewarden has to leave the town of Ashcleft as soon aspossible.  Why?  Because with his Level being over 21, he cannow be attacked by other Contenders with a lower Level than him; they are eagerto bring him down so that they’ll have a chance at the top spot, which willguarantee that their families back home on Earth will be safe.  With the completely unfair Contender versusContender system in place, he can’t defend himself even if he had thatcapability, as any damage he might inflict upon them is immediately negated.

 

Fortunately, Thaden escapes those who wish him harm, but ashe travels further from Ashcleft, he realizes that he doesn’t exactly have aplan on how to proceed now that his status has been revealed.  Venturing into the wider world of Tarth hasits own problems, though the danger to him is largely in the form of otherContenders learning his identity, and not the monsters that roam across thelandscape or the dungeons that might challenge him.  Despite those dangers, the Lifewarden decidesto begin accumulating more of the resources needed to Level-up; but when heunwittingly stumbles upon a challenge that the Assimilation System hasdesigned, Thaden is completely unprepared for the consequences of his actions.

 

But in reality, it’s the world of Tarth that is completelyunprepared for him….

 

This story contains an overpowered MC with a normallynon-offense-based Class, LitRPG progression mechanics and stats, andisekai/portal fantasy elements.  Containsno sexual content or harems.

The Kingdom has changed morein his absence than he thought possible…

 

After traveling across the entirety of the Sealance Empireand the deserts of Lowenthal, Larek has returned home to the Kingdom ofAndrothe to find that the situation is quite different from what heremembered.  Not only are there massiveApertures called Calamities consuming large portions of the landscape, but mostof his friends are also scattered to locations unknown around the Kingdom.  Worse yet, they have no idea who he isbecause of the Dominion magic used on them before he was transported to theEmpire. 

 

Despite those setbacks, Larek is determined to reunite withboth his friends and his family. Problems arise almost immediately upon entering the Kingdom, however, ashe is presented with a delay of his reunion with them all.  As a result, he is forced to adapt to the sheerdevastation he finds himself surrounded with.

 

Through it all, there is one truth that is becoming moreand more evident as time goes on.  Aspowerful of a Fusionist he may be, Larek also struggles with fighting andanything more than basic combat tactics, as his skills in that department aresorely lacking.  It’s time to learn howto fight instead of just flailing around, swinging his axe and hoping that hishigher stats will carry the day.

 

In other words, the Fusionist needs to undergo amuch-needed Martial TransFusion.

 

This weak-to-strong MC story contains LitRPG elementssuch as character progression and statistics, as well as a heavy craftingemphasis. No explicit sexual content or harems.

The Unexpected Healer audiobook has been updated!

After some feedback, Miles has re-recorded and updated the audiobook for Unexpected Healer!

He has changed quite a bit about the tone and style of the narration, which will hopefully improve the flow of the story for listeners over what it was before.
