A Week in Winter by Maeve Binchy
"Maeve Binchy’s last book, A Week in Winter, is so typical of her writing that it brought a flood of nostalgia as I read. It is the story of a hotel, fashioned from an old stone “gentleman’s house” in Western Ireland. We begin with the story of Chicky" Read more of this review »

You can fault people for being nosy, sweetie, but if you fall off your tractor in Franklin, you won’t lay in your field hurting for very long.”
