$..99 Preorder Now for The Good Guy

Hello Everyone!

It's been a while. I hope ya'll have been keeping busy and sane. It's been a struggle!

I am pleased to announce that Book Three of the Southern Sins Series is now available for preorder! It'll stay at $.99 until it's release date on October 23rd.

Book Blurb:
While Ben and Georgia continue their happily ever after, Ben's sister, Annabelle, is still looking for her own. Along the way she's found plenty of bad boys to keep her company; especially one who should have been seriously off limits.
Then she meets Jack, a good guy who still looks good enough to make her go weak in the knees. Annabelle wonders if Jack can convert her, and teach her to appreciate all that goes along with a good guy on the streets ... who is still deliciously bad in between the sheets.
Or will a certain bad boy and a carefree lifestyle tempt her to go back to her old bad boy ways?

Book Three brings back all your favorite characters: Georgia, Ben, Travis, Chad, Annabelle, and introduces the new good guy, Jack.

While this book is the third in the Southern Sins Series, it can be read as a stand alone. All books are in chronological order, but they do not need to be read as such to be enjoyable to a new reader.

Preorder your copy today!!

Anyone else losing it yet?

Well, it's been almost four months since I've left my house.
Four months since I last went grocery shopping.
Four months since I've seen friends.
Eight months since I've seen family.

And it's getting to me. again. It got to me once before, but I pulled myself out the death spiral and did my best to make the best of things. I wrote two damn books, for goodness sake!

But now the death spiral has started again, and I'm having trouble pulling myself out of it, again.

I tell you this not to make you worry. I'm writing this, in case someone else is struggling with this, too. Because there's no end in sight.

Two weeks, psh.
Two month. Yea, okay.
All damn year? Most likely.

All the things that I was holding out hope for are slowly slipping away, passing me by, and no longer on the table.

And that is hard. So, I'm doing my best to just throw myself into my writing, editing, and reading. Distraction is the name of the game right now.

I may not be able to physically leave my house, but through my books and other people's books, at least I can go somewhere else, mentally.

So, I encourage EVERYONE to pick up a damn book and get lost in it.

Right now, it's just about my only saving grace.

My New Website

Happy Tuesday, Everyone!

Well, now that I have three books out, I thought it was about time that I got my shit together and finally put together my own website.

It's my first attempt, but I really tried my best to make it look good, professional, and most importantly, be easy to navigate.

You're now able to access all my book directly, as well as sign up to become and ARC reader for my upcoming books!

Also, I will be offering book reviews on upcoming releases or new releases, and writing reviews on my website, as well as, of course, posting a review on here and Amazon as well.

So if you don't want to wait until Book Three of Southern Sins comes out this fall, sign up to become and ARC and get it before everyone else!

And if you have a new release of your own coming up and would like an ARC for it, hop on over to my website and let me know!

Married Mischief Release Day!

The day has finally arrived! Today my third book - and the second in the Southern Sins Series - is up for sale.

It's a pretty special day for me. Not so long ago I thought I'd never write a book. Then I wrote one. And I never thought I'd write another one again. (They're a lot of work!)

But here I am, publishing my third, and racing towards the finish line of my first contemporary romance series. It's an exciting time for me and my writing.

I want to thank everyone who supported me, read this, tweeted, tagged me, followed me on social media, and especially those who have read and reviewed my books.

You are amazing, and I cannot express how much I appreciate all of you and everything you do.

Married Mischief will remain $0.99 throughout this weekend, and will be free to read with Kindle Unlimited any time.

Thank you thank you thank you!!

Much love,

G.G.

$0.99 Preorder for Married Mischief!

Happy Friday, y'all!

It's now just TWO WEEKS until the second book of Southern Sins, Married Mischief, is released!

I am so excited to get this book out there, but also terrified, as all authors are. I really stepped out of my wheelhouse to write this book, which is always scary, but it can also be very rewarding.

First things first, this book picks up five years after New Love finished, BUT it is not imperative that you read New Love before reading Married Mischief. There are enough summaries and reminders in book two that you won't have an issues understanding what all is going on.

With that said, book three is out for copyright right now, and you'll want to read both books before getting to that one. But, again, order is not imperative.

But for now, and until it's release date on June 5th, you can grab your own ebook of Married Mischief for less than a flipping dollar!

Have a great Friday, and an EVEN BETTER long weekend!!

Happy Memorial Day to you all!

Book Three of Southern Sins

Well, last week I finished the second draft of Book Three of the Southern Sins Series. It is yet to be named, but I better figure it out soon, since Book Two, Married Mischief, is almost out!

I'm a writer who likes deadlines. I set goals for myself, and I do my best to reach those goals. My goal was to have my edit finished by Friday. Well, I failed. I did, however, work overtime and have it completed by Saturday evening. One day behind schedule, I'm okay with that.

And then I planned to take Sunday off. Just relax. Clear my head. Rest up, and celebrate reaching another goal. And then I'd pick back up on Monday.

Today I had planned to dive head first into another book. I'd start writing, and then just keep on going and going until another book was complete. But this morning I woke up, and I knew I just didn't have it in me. I was still too tired. I still needed more time to rest.

Another deadline missed.
Another goal pushed back a few more days.

And you know what?

It's Okay.

It's okay that I need to rest.
It's okay that I need more than one single day in between editing one book and starting another.
It's okay to admit that my body and my mind need a break, a real break; not just a day in between where I was still crazy busy with all the other aspects of my life.

When you set your own deadlines and goals, you can also adjust them as needed.

So today I am adjusting my goals. I'm giving myself as much time as I need to just relax, regroup, and take a few deep breaths. My next book isn't going anywhere. I'm still ahead of the game!

A setback is just that. It is not a failure.

So today I'll rest. And tomorrow, I'll probably rest, too. I'm reading a good book. There's no reason to rush it.

I'll be ready again soon.

I'll write again soon.

Relax. Breath. Regroup.

Then come back better than ever.

Looking back and moving forward

It's exciting to get another book up for sale. It's exciting to get the second book of your series up on Amazon for preorder!

And now, Married Mischief is up there. It's just $.99 if you preorder it now. And I'm so excited about it all.

But the past few weeks I've also taken a step back, and realized that, wow, I now have three books online, available for the world to see.

I had never gotten my first book, Loving Eliza in print. The cover I had for it wasn't high enough quality, so I just never tried again. Two plus years later, I really wanted to hold that book in my hands. Writing a novel was a bucket list item for me. It was huge.

So I went through the whole process. I made a brand new cover, I designed it myself, I got my author proof, and then ...

Then I remembered that I never intended to publish Loving Eliza. I had written it eight years ago, just for me. The formatting was a mess, I saw six typos oand grammatical errors in just five minutes of editing, and I was so embarrassed.

I tried so hard on New Love, and I tried just as hard with Married Mischief to get them perfect, or as close to perfect as I could. But I forgot all about Loving Eliza.

It had been years since I looked at it. And when I went to publish it two years ago, I *assumed* that, sure, I had edited the crap out of it all those years ago. It was good to go. And if there were a few typos, so be it.

It didn't matter as much to me then as it does now. I wasn't sure I'd ever write another book. I doubted I'd ever publish any book at all. So little effort was put into getting my first book out there.

Family and friends read it, and were very encouraging. But I didn't really try to find an audience outside of them.

Then things changed. I embraced being a writer whole-heartedly, and I committed myself to keep going, to write an entire series! To never give up.

I was so busy looking forward, that I forgot to look back.

Today I am righting that wrong. I changed the entire format, I fixed so many typos and made everything consistent. I really did my best to make my first book up to the caliber of my other two.

So, if you read Loving Eliza with all its errors, I'm sorry. Amazon tells me it will automatically update any ebook copy that's been sold, but no one is going to know that. Thank you for your patience and understanding, and for not ripping me a new one. I would have deserved it.

Today, not only were several items fixed, but I submitted the new and improved Loving Eliza for print.

I cannot wait to hold that book in my hands, and I feel so much better knowing that it won't simply be 'good enough'. Because I want to be better. I want to be the best I can be. And I've done my best to improve with every book I've written.

But we all have to take time to make sure our best foot is forward. Even if that means going back and doing a full gut edit of a book you wrote eight years ago. Because once again, I've never been prouder of that book than I am right now.
