Battle Continues August 21st!
#battleborn #scifi #romance #kindle #paranormal
Commander Kotto Tarr is sent to reopen Lunar 9, the Rodyte outpost nestled inside Earth’s moon. His crew resents him, the rebel leaders have chosen his ship as their headquarters, and a personal tragedy led to his promotion. But the exasperating tangle fades away when he meets Raina Solano. Challenged by her intelligence and fascinated by her spirit, he is instantly attracted to the feisty scientist.
Raina is “bio-streamed” to a spaceship against her will, and worse, her best friend Ashley set her up for the unwanted adventure. She’s met by a gorgeous alien who insists she’s his guest not his prisoner. He needs her to reestablish a self-contained food supply for Lunar 9. Undeniably curious, Raina soon learns that he won’t reveal the details unless she signs a 6 month contract.
Is 6 months on the moon too much to ask for the adventure of a lifetime? Raina’s scientific mind is more than ready for the unbelievable opportunity until she learns there’s an ulterior motive for her recruitment. A protein marker in her blood has identified Raina as a potential mate for the battle born and Commander Kotto himself is determined to claim her.

Where’d you get the coconuts?
The Knights Who Say Ni demand a sacrifice! Well, Mercia’s a temperate zone! Burn her anyway! I dunno. Must be a king. And the hat. She’s a witch! The swallow may fly south with the sun, and the house martin or the plover may seek warmer climes in winter, yet these are not strangers to our land.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government
Knights of Ni, we are but simple travelers who seek the enchanter who lives beyond these woods. We found them. The swallow may fly south with the sun, and the house martin or the plover may seek warmer climes in winter, yet these are not strangers to our land. We shall say ‘Ni’ again to you, if you do not appease us. What do you mean? …Are you suggesting that coconuts migrate? Oh! Come and see the violence inherent in the system! Help, help, I’m being repressed! Oh!
Come and see the violence inherent in the system! Help, help, I’m being repressed! What do you mean? Where’d you get the coconuts? Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony. We found them.

Makes Ben Hur look like an Epic!
I dunno. Must be a king. Oh, ow! Burn her anyway! You don’t frighten us, English pig-dogs! Go and boil your bottoms, sons of a silly person! I blow my nose at you, so-called Ah-thoor Keeng, you and all your silly English K-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-niggits!
First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin
I am your king. Oh! Come and see the violence inherent in the system! Help, help, I’m being repressed! Well, I didn’t vote for you. Well, how’d you become king, then? The nose?
King Arthur
Knights of Ni, we are but simple travelers who seek the enchanter who lives beyond these woods. We want a shrubbery!! I dunno. Must be a king. Well, Mercia’s a temperate zone! Why? Camelot!
The Knights Who Say Ni demand a sacrifice!
Ah, now we see the violence inherent in the system!
How do you know she is a witch?
And this isn’t my nose. This is a false one. Ni! Ni! Ni! Ni! Oh, ow! Burn her! Knights of Ni, we are but simple travelers who seek the enchanter who lives beyond these woods.

Am I right?
Now, look here, my good man. Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony. Who’s that then? A newt? Oh! Come and see the violence inherent in the system! Help, help, I’m being repressed!

It’s only a model. What a strange person. Found them? In Mercia?! The coconut’s tropical! Shh! Knights, I bid you welcome to your new home. Let us ride to Camelot! Ah, now we see the violence inherent in the system! We want a shrubbery!! Camelot! Well, what do you want? The swallow may fly south with the sun, and the house martin or the plover may seek warmer climes in winter, yet these are not strangers to our land.

Bring her forward! And this isn’t my nose. This is a false one. Well, she turned me into a newt. I’m not a witch. Camelot! I dunno. Must be a king.
Ah, now we see the violence inherent in the system! The Lady of the Lake, her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite, held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the water, signifying by divine providence that I, Arthur, was to carry Excalibur. That is why I am your king. Shh! Knights, I bid you welcome to your new home. Let us ride to Camelot! The Knights Who Say Ni demand a sacrifice! Ni! Ni! Ni! Ni!
