Money Cannot Buy Your Health!
Many people believe that wealth can buy health. But the following real-life stories suggest otherwise:
I got my public education in China over 30 years ago, during a time when everybody was poor and the majority of people experienced starvation. In my fifteen years of schooling, there were only a few class cancellations that were due to teachers’ sickness. Now my son is in school in Boston. His class cancellations in one week are more than that in my fifteen years of schooling in China! The U.S. is one of the richest countries and spends the most money on their health in the world, but its citizens have the worst health conditions in the Western world. Over 80% of Americans have health issues, such as fatigue, digestive issues, sleep disorders, weight problems, and emotional troubles. On average, Americans catch a cold three times a year!
Many rich and famous people, such as Steve Jobs, have tons of money but can’t buy their health. Like many other westerners, Steve Jobs relied on medical professionals and others for his own health and his cancer. Illnesses develop because of a lack of knowledge and understanding of what a person’s body needs in order to thrive. Most of the times, it is the wrong beliefs, inappropriate habits, and the modern lifestyle that harm the body and cause health problems. A hectic business and social schedule, unhealthy emotions, and excessive mental labor that Steve had hurt his body. He thought fruit was good for health and drank more fruit juice after he had been diagnosed with pancreas cancer. He never realized that the fruit juice could make his cancer worse and hurt his already very sickly body. No matter how much money he spent on acupuncture and other medical treatments, none of these can save him without considering and meeting his own bodily needs.
There is a historical Chinese story about a beggar: Homeless beggars typically do not look well because of starvation. One beggar was different. He even looked better than many settled did. People asked him why the difference. He said he “drank a lot of the northwest wind”, which means he breathed in a lot more air than the others. The air, as well as the sun and earth, can provide enormous energy to the body. Many energy cultivators can eat less but get much more energy from nature and enjoy a long life. The beggar knew the ways to absorb more energy from nature and didn’t suffer from hunger and health problems.
Rich people may have more access to doctors and health information than other people, but nobody can keep us healthy but ourselves. Only the body can heal itself and only we ourselves can care for our body every day. Diseases are preventable and curable when our life energy is not yet depleted. Like I did, take charge of your own health and learn how to care for your body the natural and holistic ways. The earlier you learn about how to cultivate your life energy with The Total Life Energy Plan, the less the precious but limited life energy gets wasted, and the longer and healthier you live. Do You Consider Food Energy Effects on Your Body When You Select Food?
My foodie group of friends regularly hosts parties, dinners, and gatherings revolving around good food and great company. We met each other when our kids were little and played together. Now most of us are empty nesters but still enjoy getting together often. For each party we have a different culinary theme, such as Italian, French, Mexican, Greek, and Chinese food. This month, it was Moroccan food and we did it differently than before. Instead of selecting our own favorite dish to cook and share, we drew for Moroccan recipes and cooked whatever each of us drew. I drew a recipe for a spicy rabbit dish.
I have neither cooked nor eaten rabbit before, although I heard that in some regions, especially Europe, rabbit is a common meat to consume. The stores that typically sell rabbit meat are far away from where I live. But luckily enough, the party is right before Easter Sunday and I could get rabbit meat from a store close to home. The store only sells rabbit meat during Easter holiday because some people just cook rabbits for the holiday. Rabbit tastes like a veal. It is a white meat that is more flavorful, leaner, and tender than chicken.
The rabbit dish made me think about the properties of rabbit meat and their effects on our body.
Rabbit meat is sweet and cold. It mainly acts on our Liver to help the Liver cleanse blood and detox the body. It cools an overheated body from a yin deficiency. It clears stomach heat and helps with nausea, vomiting, and thirst. It detoxes the poisons created from overheating. Combined with different herbs, rabbit can be used for curing diabetes, tracheitis, and cervical cancer. But rabbit shouldn’t be cooked and eaten with ginger because it may harm the Heart. Rabbit blood can be consumed for easing difficulties in labor. Rabbit liver is especially effective on our overworked, overheated, and weakened Liver, which is mainly caused by too much waste in the body. The rabbit liver will assist our Liver in cleansing the body.
Eating “cold” rabbit too much or too often cools the body so much that the yang (the body’s active energy) gets damaged which results in a lack of energy and low spirit.
If you plan on eating rabbit meat, make sure it’s compatible with your body’s health and energy conditions. If you often feel cold, rabbit is definitely not a good food for you. The Total Life Energy Plan is able to help you find many of your body’s unique conditions, and the foods and exercises that fit your specific conditions.

How Can Fasting Harm or Even Kill You?
Sara passed away for about two months. I still feel so uneasy about the situation.
Zhuang, Shuqi, A Chinese doctor, who practiced both Eastern and Western medicines, became famous after she helped Empress Michiko and many others in the Japanese Imperial Palace to return to good health. Mr. Baigen (白根) was one of them.
Mr. Baigen’s stomach cancer got cured with Dr. Zhuang’s help. Here is the story about Mr. Baigen (translated from Dr. Zhuang’s book):
One day, the 96-year-old Baigen came to see me with a gift he knew I loved.
“Dr. Zhuang, I’m going to the hospital tomorrow for a regular physical exam.” I was told after we chat a little.
I’m shocked. His stomach cancer is cured and he is in perfect health now. Why does he want the physical exam?
“If you go, they are going to check on your stomach and have a blood test, that means you can’t have breakfast and lunch.” Worried me.
“No worry. I have no problem without eating just in the morning and around noon.”
The next morning, I got a call from Mr. Baigen in the hospital: “I’m so starved and really want beef ribs. Would you please get some to me asap?!”
I can never believe that are the last words I hear from Mr. Baigen.
I call his son right after hanging up the phone with Mr. Baigen. I ask his son to get ribs right away and to tell his dad that the test could be delayed to another time.
“Ooh, no problem to just skip one more meal. Just let him wait for the test!”
Later, I realize why Mr. Baigen called me instead of his son. His son never took what he said seriously.
When the news comes to me that Mr. Baigen died in the hospital, I feel such regret that I didn’t bring food to him. This is my biggest mistake!
Mr. Baigen waited for a blood test before he could eat. When the nurse came for the blood test at 2:45 pm, she found that Mr. Baigen already passed away.
From Mr. Baigen’s story, to my mother’s passing away days in the hospital without food years ago, and then to Sara’s death now.
There are many factors may affect people’s death: their health condition and beliefs, how much care they get from their family, medical treatments, etc. Fasting before blood tests is one of them.
The body needs to be constantly charged with energy to stay alive. you may not feel much than just starved and may not think it is a big deal to skip meals. But the body doesn’t get the energy it needs for functioning properly and continuously. When we are young and have enough energy, our body uses its energy reserves and is capable to adjust itself to stop or slow down the non-essential functions. But for a sick and weak elderly, it could be life or death. Also, it is not only the fasting before blood tests, but any fasting that is not done right can harm the body.
The Total Life Energy Plan covers the detail on the right ways of fasting, as well as how to avoid the situations, habits, and lifestyles that waste our precious but limited life energy.

What Do You Eat During the Coldest Time of the Year?
There are many traditional Chinese holidays related to what foods you should eat at various times of the year. Laba(Làbā, 腊八) is one of them. Laba is the eighth day of the twelfth month in the lunar calendar, which usually falls in the middle of January in the Western solar calendar (January 24 this year). This is the coldest time of the year. The Chinese have rice soup mixed with many nuts and seeds for this holiday. There are many different recipes for this soup from different regions. Many use regular or glutinous rice, millet, red beans, dried jujubes, chestnuts, peanuts, walnuts, and lotus seeds. Cook ingredients long enough to blend thoroughly with rice or other grains. This ensures that the healing properties of the ingredients are completely released into the liquid. For food properties, check out here: http://totallifeenergyplan.com/resources/public/.
In the northern part of China, where it is extremely cold, people have hot pot meals to warm the body and expel cold. Placed at the center of the dining table, the hot pot simmers ingredients in a pot containing water, broth, or stock. Foods are placed into the simmering pot and cooked. Foods commonly used include thinly sliced meats, shrimp, root vegetables, cabbage, and mushrooms. Once cooked, food is usually eaten with a dipping sauce, such as sesame paste, fermented flour sauce, or fermented soybean paste, mixed with ground garlic and chopped scallions.
There are many dos and don’ts for winter diet, for a healthy person, as well as for a person has health issues, especially frequent colds, Kidney and Heart problems. Eating right prolongs your life. Eating wrong shortens your life. This is especially sure during this brutal cold that we never had before. The Total Life Energy Plan has more details on diet, exercise, and daily activities for winter, as well as for other seasons.

In Remote Contact with a Person Who Is Passing Away
Like the majority of people, I never did, until yesterday.
I received a phone call from my friend Caroline after we hadn’t talked to each other for almost a year. She called me right before Thanksgiving to say hello and happy holidays. From the phone conversation, I learned that she had been too busy to take care of her sister, Sarah, who had been battling with lung cancer for almost three years.
“You should have told me earlier, so I could help her.”
Two weeks later, I had a chance to meet Sarah at her house for the first time.
Sarah didn’t look well at all. She was so weak that she couldn’t sit up for very long and couldn’t even use a regular bathroom. I asked about her situation and did energy healing for her.
After the first meet and while we were planning for daily distance healing at a convenient time, I got a call from Caroline that her sister was in the emergency room because she wasn’t able to breathe. Once I heard this, I did healing right away and then was on my way to the hospital.
Sarah didn’t look well, even with life support. But she was very happy to see me and told me she felt warmness transferred to her body and the warmness lasted for a while after the healing session at her house. She could also go to the bathroom without the special sit that she got from the doctor’s office.
I did healing for her twice a day afterwards, either in person or in distance. But a few days later, in the morning, Sarah didn’t accept very much energy from me in distance. I texted Caroline and asked if her sister was okay. She told me her sister only had a few hours left…
I told her I was going to do a last healing for her. I rushed to finish my work. About an hour later, I began sending energy to her.
I comforted her in my communications with her. I wanted her to go peacefully. I took her pain from her body. Suddenly my whole chest was so bloated and hurt so much that I could hardly breathe. It was unbearable, and I tried to comfort myself. At that same moment when I lost Sarah, my chest pain went away.
I was sad and wished I hadn’t had to take my attention away from Sarah.
I was also happy that she trusted me enough to spend her last moments with me…

7 Ways to Care for Your Kidneys

Massage the Yong Quan acupressure point on the soles of your feet. It lies on the Kidney meridian and directly affects circulation to the kidneys. It is especially helpful to massage this point after soaking your feet in warm water for 15 to 30 minutes if you don’t have heart disease, diabetes, or any other serious illness. Soaking your feet in warm water helps both the Kidneys and the body with circulation.
Protect the body from cold, especially in winter. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, cold moves to your Kidneys once inside your body. Keep your lower back, where Kidneys are located, and your feet, warm. In winter, eat more warming foods, such as cooked radishes, walnuts, sweet potatoes, black beans, lamb, and chicken.
Kegel exercise. This is an exercise you can do almost anytime and anyplace. Relax the whole body and breathe naturally. Contract your anus as you inhale and relax your anus as you exhale. Repeat 30 times or so. This exercise may also prevent or heal involuntary urination.
Lower back exercise. Move your lower back and waist often to stimulate circulation to the Kidneys.
Swallow saliva. Stay calm and breathe naturally. Your tongue touches inside of your bottom teeth. Move the tip of your tongue left and right to generate more saliva. Once your mouth is filled with saliva, slowly swallow it a tiny bit at a time. Imagine the saliva slowly moving down the torso to the Kidneys and the lower abdomen. Saliva is treated as a precious body fluid that nourishes the Kidneys and whole body in Taoist doctrines.
Avoid physical and mental stress, such as a high-pressure job or heavy physical exertion.

The People Eating Out Every Day Vs. the Homeless
Are you still eating out at fast food or other restaurants every day or even every meal?
Too many articles to read now regarding poisonous chemicals or other non-food items served at these popular restaurants:
Taco Bell’s beef tacos have so little meat.
Subway Chicken — 50 Percent Chicken, 50 Percent Filler.
McDonald’s sued over allegations of fake cheese and What Happens to Your Body When You Eat a McDonald’s Hamburger?
Wendy’s Admits to Using Horse and Rat Meat in Their Rich and Meaty Chili!
Restaurant foods typically have more additives for better taste, but they still do not taste as good as the home-made real foods that your mother or grandmother cooked.
What are the dietary differences between the people eating out often and the homeless? Not much to me:
They both do not eat at home, even though one group of people have a house. Having a house does not mean having a home.
they both eat the foods many other people do not want to eat or want to throw away most of the time.
The non-food items accumulate in your body, blocking circulation and causing term-long illnesses.
You may need to spend a little more time to cook, but it well worth the effort for your long term health.
