Ultima Skylar Has Been a Pain in the Neck, Third Copy Editing,

I published Ultima Skylar last year in March, and ever since, this book has been nothing but a pain. I’ve had to Copy-edit this book three times and proofread it twice.  I have no idea why I’ve had so many problems with this one book. The first editor was an ammature. I knew he was starting in the editing business and wanted to give him a chance. I will never make that mistake again. The … Continue ReadingUltima Skylar Has Been a Pain in the Neck, Third Copy Editing,

I must Visit Japan Again. When Is Japan Going to Open Its Borders?

The first time I visited Japan was in July 2007, and the moment I landed at the Narita Airport, I fell in love. I spent fourteen days in the Land of the Rising Sun, and I enjoyed every minute. I went to the country primarily to visit my sister. My baby sister’s husband was an officer in the Navy, and he was stationed in Japan. They lived in Misawa, and I spent most of my … Continue ReadingI must Visit Japan Again. When Is Japan Going to Open Its Borders?

Promises of War, The next book in the series The Assembly of Thirteen,

I’ve been debating whether or not I should finish this series. This series has a little following, and although it is my firstborn, It’s an ugly duckling, in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong, I love The Assembly of Thirteen, but the first book was my introduction to the world of writing, and I made so many structural mistakes that I know why the series crumbled. My father’s Uncle was a mason, and he used Continue Reading →

Creating Something New with My Pal

I did a book signing at a local book store and a lady asked me; are you creating something new? That is a question I’ve been asked by several people in different ways. When are you publishing a romance? Are you ever going to publish a YA story? Are you ever going to finish The Assembly of Thirteen? The last question is not in that category but is a question that needs an answer. The Continue Reading →

My Past Life

I am a Christian woman. However, if I believed in reincarnation, I would say I had a past life as a Japanese woman. I visited Japan back in the summer of 2007. I was there for about fourteen days, and I loved every single day I was there. When I stepped off the plane, I immediately had a feeling that I was finally home. It was an indescribable moment for me. I have felt…

What happened in Walmart today

I live in a quiet town in Florida, and we don’t have much in terms of stores. Today, I had to go to Walmart to buy a few things, and something happened that upset me. I am a social person and like to have conversations with the people I know. If I don’t know you and you start a conversation with me, I will be polite and answer back and continue talking. However, I will…
