What You Should Do About Nike’s New Ad Campaign With Colin Kaepernick

Simple answer… buy Nike stock!

How It All Started

The public was shocked when Nike, the biggest shoe company in the world, recently backed the controversial figure, Colin Kaepernick, whose most notably known for kneeling during the national anthem as an NFL quarterback. The kneeling of NFL players during the national anthem – who many forget was not the real topic the players are trying to bring attention to but rather police brutality and the killing of blacks by the hands of law enforcement – has caused many company sponsors to cut ties with players and the NFL. Papa John’s ended sponsorship with the NFL, saying the kneeling controversy hurt its pizza sales (Click link). Not just company sponsors but the NLF itself wanted no part of the controversy, coming up with new rules that require players to stand during the national anthem and having a number of their owners speak out and demand their players stand and not kneel. And by the way, after Kaepernick did this, he hasn’t been able to get a job as an NFL quarterback since, even though he led his last team, the San Francisco 49ers, to a Super Bowl and is one of only a handful of current quarterbacks in the league to do so. What does Nike do after observing all this? They go and make Colin Kaepernick the face of their newest ad campaign (featured at the end of this post).

The Reaction

Like the NFL national anthem kneeling controversy, the Nike sponsorship of Colin Kaepernick is polarizing. Conservatives and anti-kneelers are vowing to not support Nike. I’ve even seen videos of anti-kneelers burning their Nike apparel in protest.

Why Buy Nike Stock

So what should you do? BUY NIKE STOCK NOW!!! I did :). Nike’s (NYSE: NKE) stock is dipping because of this controversial stance and support of Colin Kaepernick. But, it won’t be down for long. As of Tuesday, the stock fell more than 3%, but is still up 27% overall for the year (Click link). When Kaepernick was still on an NFL roster but was a backup QB, not even a starting quarterback at the moment, his jersey sales were the highest of any player in the league! (Click link). More than clear fan favorites like Odell Beckham Jr., Tom Brady, or even Dallas Cowboys fan favorite, Ezekiel Elliott. Before he refused to kneel for the national anthem, Kaepernick was 20th in jersey sales.

Even if you don’t know much about stocks, you should know this, Nike’s stock price won’t be down long. The initial blow back will occur, and some people will drop them, but the stance they took in support of Kaepernick will fire up others who may have been passive supporters of the company to go all in and support them to the fullest. Thus, evening out and even causing their stock to rise even higher. Similar to what happened with Kaepernick’s jersey sales. My advice is to not wait and capitalize on this and make a little pocket change for yourself while watching everyone get emotional and throw temper tantrums like little children over this topic. And if you’re a supporter of Kaepernick and his kneeling movement then even better, make money while supporting a cause you believe in. Win-Win.

P.S. The stock expert, Jim Cramer, agrees with me: (Click here)

There’s No Place Like Atlanta For Blacks….

The pic above is of a $400,000 Rolls Royce Phantom parked outside a restaurant I was eating at in the ‘hood recently. There was one Black man in the driver’s seat talking on the phone. NO security and it’s almost 11pm at night. When I say the ghetto, I mean the ghetto. And, this is the same neighborhood where Curtis Snow’s Snow On The Bluff was filmed. Crack and heroine get sold on this block, foreclosed and condemned homes get turned into trap houses every day, and “jays” (what we call junkies in Atlanta) walk the streets like zombies from The Walking Dead. So, if you’ve never been to Atlanta this may be hard to believe that a $400,000 car can be parked outside with NO security in this type of environment, but it happens all the time.

Story of KG- The hood millionaire

When I was locked up, I met a guy named KG* (name changed). KG was a Black guy from the Midwest. He had been getting locked up for selling drugs since he was a teenager. KG was a real hustler. I met him on his second stint in the FEDs. But KG wasn’t a fool. He saved his money, legitimized it into legal businesses, and was now a hood millionaire.

KG had money put away to ensure when he got out the FEDs he’d still be rich, so he spent most of his time cracking jokes and telling stories about all the wild and lavish things he’s done in his life. Basically, he was just killing time waiting to be released because he was set for life financially.

KG would always find me when he wanted to talk about Atlanta. He would seek me out and say “A-T-L, man I love your city.”

One story he told me about how he used to bring one of his luxury cars down to the city to drive around and enjoy himself. I think he said it was a supped up ‘Vette (easy six figure price tag on it). After this particular story, I had to ask him a question I was wondering about for quite some time.

“KG, why do you love coming to my city so much? I mean you got money, so you can enjoy yourself anywhere, especially in your own city. Why come to Atlanta all the time?” I said.

“That’s where you’re wrong, lil’ bro. A Black man can’t drive an expensive car in every city in America. You got to worry about cops harassing you, trying to find the source of your paper. You also got to worry about other Black folks with they crab-in-the-bucket mentality. Robbers, haters, they all watching for the person riding clean. And in most cities, if you driving an expensive car and you Black, if you not an athlete or rapper, your name will be ringing bells in the hood because you’re probably the only person riding clean like that. It’s hectic,” he said. “But in your city, Atlanta, Blacks folks doing well. You got Black folks who make they money legally riding around in Bentleys and Lamborhghinis. And it’s not just just one or two, y’all got a nice number of folks doing it like that. I can go to Lenox Mall in Atlanta or a nice club and valet park my car and not be the only Black person in the spot with an expensive car. I blend in.”

Conclusion

This story by KG and what I witnessed the other night in the hood with the Rolls Royce Phantom parked there illustrates that Atlanta is a unique city for Black people with money. The city energizes your melanin. Whether you from here or not, you can see it, feel it, and be more comfortable. Atlanta is truly the Black Mecca, and we should do all we can to make sure we keep this “Black Magic” alive. Long Live Atlanta, the Black Mecca.

How To Hook Up With Any Instagram Model

We’ve all seen the well-endowed, half-naked models on Instagram. For some, it’s the main pages we follow and are entertained by on a daily basis. But many men put these Instagram models up on a pedestal and think they are out of their league. Men think “she’s too beautiful to be interested in me”, “she probably has a million guys trying to hook up with her”, or “let me just tell her how pretty she is and win her over with compliments.” This causes them to overthink the hook up, or just straight up blow it when it comes to the approach. And by the way, all those statements are definitely the wrong approach.

It’s really not that difficult. Take it from a guy who had good-looking women even when he was broke with no car. The only thing I could utilize was my mouthpiece to attract women (i.e. my words). Even though social media has become the go-to place to lust over women, the same strategy applies, disarm them. In this post, I will give you a method that will dramatically increase your Instagram model hook up success rate. But let’s start off with a quick story on how I realized this was an issue for most men.

My cellmate used to lust after Instagram models for hours

When I was in prison, I had a cellmate who would always look at beautiful women in magazine spreads and lust after them. He also got his family to print him out pics of social media models from their accounts. He had a collection of pics of women in bikinis or lingerie with next-to-nothing on. Sitting on his bed for hours just dreaming and lusting after these women was one of his favorite things to do. Every time he turned the page and moved onto another model, I’d hear “Ooooo. Damn, she so bad. I’d put it on her, for real.”

One day, I had enough. I wanted to know how he planned to approach these women when we finally got out of prison and he had an opportunity to interact with them, so I asked.

“What’s up, T. You stare at these pics all day and swear you’ll hook up with all these women. So, tell me, how you going to do it?” I said.

I could immediately see this question caught him off guard. I don’t think he had given it much thought as to what strategy he would use to actually hook up with these women.

He looked up and me and said, “Well Cal, what I’ma do is I’ma Like a bunch of their pics, right. Then, I’m leave comments about how sexy she is under the pics, and then I’ll slide into her DMs and ask her ‘if she want a real man in her life?’”

I shook my head. I knew this was a losing strategy. One that would get him ignored and declined.

Why sliding into DMs is NOT the way to go

Do you think you’re the only guy who had the bright idea to Like a model’s pics and then slide into her DMs?!? Of course you’re not! All you have to do is look at all the comments under some model’s ‘bikini’ pic and you’ll know all these guys are thirsty and trying to hook up with her.

There are even models who specifically say in their profile heading “Do not DM me!” They’re saying this for a reason, a lot of guys have obviously DM’d them with the same tired lines about how good they look, how he just wants to get to know her better, make her feel good, and then …. give her this big D he got.

Lol, it’s typical and definitely not new. So, how can you be original and disarm her?

How to Disarm her

I say disarm when talking about approaching women because I feel it’s the most important thing to a successful interaction. When a woman is on guard and feels that men will holler, she has already gotten herself in the mindset to have a bad attitude and turn down each and every guy that tries to make an advance, even if he may be a nice guy. Think about when you go to the club. Everyone likes to think the club is the place to go to meet women. It’s really not. Most clubs are hot, crowded, and not relaxing environments. Plus, a good-looking woman will get touched and hollered at so many times during the course of the night she’ll lose count of all the different men that tried to talk to her.

You know where’s a good place where I’ve met a ton of women …. the grocery store!

You read that right, the grocery store. Many women don’t get all dressed up to go to the grocery store. Why? Because of the environment. They aren’t expecting for guys to approach them in aisle 4 when they’re buying bread. And that’s why it works. If you approach a woman in a grocery store, you’ll a) make her feel pretty because she won’t be all dressed up, b) probably be the ONLY guy to have approached her during her whole grocery store trip, and c) catch her when she’s comfortable and more open to conversation.

A Successful Approach To Land An Instagram Model

When on Instagram and you see a woman you think is attractive. Do not immediately start Liking all her pics and showering her with compliments in her comments section. Instead, do a little research on her. See if she has a primary job (most IG models have a primary job they actually use to pay their bills).

Let’s say you find out with your research that she’s an interior decorator. Cool. What you do is email her, DO NOT DM HER! Many women don’t even open up DMs. I suspect it’s because guys are probably sending unwanted dick pics in their DMs. Come on, fellas. That’ll never, ever, ever work.

Send her a business email. In the email, keep it short and sweet. Simply say you see she’s an interior decorator and you just got a new place and is shopping around for a professional to help you furnish the spot. Ask her if she’s interested. She will be. Then, ask her if she has a portfolio of past interior decorating jobs she’s done. She may or may not have this. No matter. It’s even better if she doesn’t because that makes you look more professional and now she’ll have to psychologically work more to impress you if she wants the job. Next, ask her if you two could schedule a time to talk about the job. Don’t schedule it soon, maybe the next week or so. Don’t come off as thirsty to talk to her. You’re angle is approaching this like business, so be professional in the approach.

Everyone wants to be taken seriously, especially Instagram models who are mostly being valued just for their bodies.

If you follow this, then I can guarantee you’ll have a WAY HIGHER success rate than the usual DM message, “Oh baby, you so fine. Let’s get to know each other.”

Steps:

Let’s go over these steps again:

Step 1) do a little research on the Instagram model

Step 2) email her (Don’t DM!)

Step 3) get her interested in a professional job

Step 4) let your charm and manly attraction take you to the finish line

Step 5) Thank me

Why Tori Brixx Didn’t Set Up Rich The Kid For The Home Invasion Robbery

I’m seeing all these people weighing in on the latest violent incident in the hip-hop community, the Rich The Kid home invasion robbery. Many feel like it was an “inside job” by girlfriend, Tori Hughes aka Tori Brixx. The Game is one of those people, along with Rich The Kid’s estranged and soon to be ex-wife. I can confidently say this is false. Why? I’ll tell you why.

First, let’s do a quick rundown of the situation and the details we know:

On the night of June 14 in Los Angeles, while chilling with his girlfriend, Tori Brixx, Rich The Kid had two masked men run up in the house to rob him. Now, he was at Tori’s home, so they came into her spot. Rich bucked on the robbery, and a struggle ensued. Then, three more men came into the home and put a rest to all the static by brutally assaulting him before they stole what XXL quotes as a “significant amount” of valuable possessions. Tori and her sister were in the house. Tori sustained her injuries when she said she heard her sister in the other room screaming and thought the worst, and she said to the masked men “Don’t hurt my sister.” That’s when one of the masked men holding a big ol’ stick stood over her and gun-butted her in the face.

Alright, now we know the details, let me explain why this was not an “inside job” by Tori Brixx.

The Reasons it’s NOT an “inside job”:

Financial motive doesn’t add up
She sustained significant injuries and put her brand at risk
Too many people for it to be an “inside job.”

1) Financial motive doesn’t add up

First, let’s look at motive: okay, so obviously money could be the primary motive, right? Alright, but let’s go a lil’ deeper and see if Tori stands to benefit from robbing Rich The Kid for money. Rich The Kid and her are chilling at her house the time of the incident. He probably has minimal jewelry and money on him because he’s not out stunting or putting on for the cameras like when he is in “rapper” mode and has to keep up his appearances, so why rob him at this particular time? Honestly, there’s no good reason. It’s not the best time to rob him, especially if your “inside” person is his girlfriend and has close, unlimited access to him. A better time would be after a performance when he has all his jewelry out and also got paid cash from the promoter. That’s a guaranteed bigger score than this *fingers crossed* “I hope he has money and jewels on him” home invasion move.

2) Tori sustained significant injuries and put her brand at risk

Did you see her face? Those robbers roughed her up. Besides the fact that they’re pieces of shit with no principles and more than likely drugged up fiends, let’s keep emotion out of it and look at the psychology of it. Brixx has made a brand with her looks. I think she deejays, but she’s primarily known for being beautiful. So much so, she currently has 2.9 million Instagram followers. To all her followers on Instagram (who are mostly dudes), I know you’re not trying to look at her with her face all battered and bruised up.

And, if you go through her pics, you can tell she doesn’t take pics lackin’. Not even a woman with 600 Instagram followers is going to agree to you smashing her in the face with a gun. She might want to sell the robbery, but she’s never going to go that far. What normally happens is if it’s an “inside job” and the woman is involved, the robbers will separate the two and have her in another room, and she’ll sell it by screaming and stuff. The only way women get hurt in robberies is if they have nothing to do with it, and the robbers are willing to take it that far to get the guy they’re robbing to talk and give up what they came to steal.

3) Too many people for it to be an “inside job.”

And last but not least, let’s add up all the people in on the job. There were two masked men, then three more came in making it five. So, if you believe it may be an “inside job,” then Tori is also in on it, and that’ll make six people. And believe me, if Tori was in on it her sister also got tipped off by her, so we could bump it up to seven people but let’s stay at six and assume she breaks her sister off a lil’ something from her cut of the job. So the internet, it says Rich The Kid’s net worth is $2 million. Who knows if it’s true or not, but alright let’s go with it. If he’s worth about $2 million, I can’t see him having more than $100,000 on him in jewelry and stuff that night (and that’s me overestimating). For the home invasion job that will net a profit of $100k, and six people are in on it meaning that each person got $16,666.67 each when split evenly. That is not life-changing money. That’s only a good haul for a week, and a drop in the bucket in terms of a lifetime. And, Tori would probably have to give her sister like $5k to be in on it as well, so she’s looking to walk away with a lil’ over $11k. That’s laughable to think that she took a gun-butt to the face and did all that just for $11k. Her facial injuries will add up to that ticket. Not to mention, she can make more than that in a week doing sponsored IG posts.

Conclusion

That sums up my clear and obvious reasons why Tori Brixx didn’t have anything to do with this home invasion. I don’t know these individuals and are in no way associated with them. Just wanted to offer a real take on the situation. I wish all the victims involved a speedy recovery. And, quick advice to Rich The Kid, whenever someone tries to rob you, give it up, lil’ bruh. You are a successful person who can make back whatever they steal from you. You’re a tax-paying, citizen, no need to act tough and lose your life over some jewelry. There’s a lot of tough guys sleeping in the cemetery.

And to everyone else out there, stay safe and learn from this situation.
