Perceptions of Being with poet Martina Reisz Newberry

A reading of the poem “Subsequence” from Blues for French Roast with Chicory. We discuss the suffix “ess”, ageism and creativity and how it affects the perceptions of being. Cultural perceptions on age and value are explored.
Martina Reisz Newberry has been writing for 60 years. A passionate lover of Los Angeles, she currently lives there with her husband, Brian Newberry, a Media Creative.

Perceptions of Trauma with Dr. Nancy Hinman
In this episode, we discuss perceptions of trauma and how our beliefs affect our behavior and emotional state. Alternative practices are addressed for helping oneself.
Nancy Hinman, Ph.D., LMFT is a doctor in Depth Psychology with an emphasis in Psychotherapy. She received her Ph.D. in Depth Psychology from Pacific Graduate Institute and received her MA in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. Her research interest is in the importance of the body reaction in psychotherapy and in facilitating the opening to one’s personal depths; to unravel the defenses that have been unconsciously built to protect one’s essence from feeling. She encompasses various healing techniques to help unravel the unconscious knots that have tied up a client’s spirit.

Poetic Resurrection Podcast is Live

So excited to announce the PR Podcast went live yesterday.
Hello and welcome to the Poetic Resurrection podcast I’m your host Sonia Iris Lozada. In this podcast series, we will discuss various subjects about perceptions with little humor. It’s our way of having fun as we learn to ask self-reflecting questions. No particular belief systems are going to be addressed, just experiences, information, and quotes about perceptions. Tune In to our episodes where will have some guests and concepts covering different perceptions in various genres and mediums. Be it books, philosophy, psychology, music, film, and then we’ll end with a poem. A separate meditation will be recorded in conjunction with several podcast presentation.
