Because I’ve had my head down and my tail up, book two is coming along a lot faster than I anticipated. I had thought I would release Tempted, book two of the Thornton Brothers on 1st Jan 2018, but now the release date is looking to be mid-December. Because of this, I have a digital ARC of Tempted ready and waiting.

Touched . . . one week on.
Tomorrow, Touched will have been out there in the world for a full week. I’m rather excited with how it has gone, considering it’s a debut release.
It went #1 in the Australian & Oceanian Literature category in the UK Kindle store and it reached #3 in the US Kindle store.
And look at this! One of those orange tags turned up when I searched for Touched in the UK store. Rather excited about that!

Well I did it. I pressed that little ‘publish’ button and set Touched available for pre-order with the release date of 1st November. Touched – The Blurb
I’ve been working on the blurb for Touched for a while now, getting help and advice from other authors. The problem I was having was this. Although the Thornton Brothers follows Lauren Greer and her entanglement with TWO of the Thornton men, in book one you only get to meet Gabe, the youngest of the brothers.
Not wanting to deceive readers who may start the series, expecting it to follow only one relationship, I felt like I needed to warn potential readers what they were getting themselves in for. The Thornton Brothers does not follow the traditional romance plot. And even in book one, there are intimate details of more than one relationship.
So after playing around, tossing and turning and not know which direction I should head, below is what I finally decided on.

It’s getting close

I’ve been working on the Thornton Brothers for a while now, and finally, it is getting close to publication. I’m in the throws of the final edits and read-throughs and hopefully by November first, book one will be ready to go.
I started writing Touched as a challenge from a couple of my friends who wanted something raunchy. At the time, an acquaintance of ours had just started dating a man a decade younger than her and the idea fascinated me. Lauren and Gabe were born of that initial idea, but because I had so much fun writing their story, I decided I wanted to keep going and see where their relationship would lead.
It turned out that their relationship led to the ultimate love triangle, pitting brother against brother as you will find out in book two.
The Thornton Brothers isn’t your typical love story. It follows Lauren and her intense entanglement with two of the Thornton men. The oldest and the youngest.
In book one, you’ll get to meet Gabe. Trust me, he’s gorgeous. Young, and a little immature at times, but gorgeous. And boy, does he know how to make a woman feel good.
