Meet Layla, Jacques & Kai...
Her eyebrows started to pinch together while she wondered what he was doing. This is not the way he usually treated her.

"Layla…" His expression turned serious, which is a side of Kai she has only seen a few “times. He stared into her eyes, leaving her feeling awkward.

Her heart pounded, sensing what was coming. She demanded, "What is wrong?" His touch on her shoulder felt too close for comfort. She felt as if she was no longer looking at her childhood friend.

As he rubbed her shoulder, she pulled it back, but he rested his hand against it. Layla reached up and grabbed his arm, pulling it away from her. "Stop it Kai! Tell me what the hell is going on here?"

Leaning in, close enough that she felt his breath, he looked in her eyes. "It's—"

His body was ripped away from Layla before he could finish. "Get away from her! She doesn't want you touching her so leave her the fuck alone!"

Update on my books
Hey guys. Here's what's going on in my author life.
FINDING FAITH, Book 2 of The Hawaii Series (Stephen & Faith's Story), is available for pre-order now. It will go LIVE tomorrow, June 23rd!! If you like romance, suspense and some hot characters, you're going to like this book.
LOVE'S DESIRE, Book 3 (Jacques & Layla's Story), is halfway through edits with my editor. The characters in this book have evolved more than I ever imagined they would. I cannot wait to share it with you!
For a few weeks now I've been writing a book near and dear to my heart. It's something I've wanted to write for as long as I can remember. I will tell you it falls into the catergory of a sweet romance that people of any age will be able to read. I will dish out more details soon-ish.
All of the books in The Hawaii Series are standalone books. You can read any one without having to read the others if you don't want to. The stories are set in Hawaii and surround a group of friends.
These three books will be released in 2019 so come back for more info. Now enjoy the rest of your weekend!
