Which feng shui methods does Rodika use?

Rodika’s consulting, teaching and mentoring practice is based on the classical feng shui methods: the Compass and the Form Feng Shui schools. She also uses the 9 Star Ki Feng Shui Astrology, the Eight Mansions/East-West System, the foundational Flying Star and the Three Gates/Nine Palaces/BTB school wisdom.

How many hours does it take to feng shui my home?

The total number of hours needed to analyze your home and start creating a shift in the desired direction depends on several factors. This includes the size of your space, the number of people living in the home, the goals you want to achieve and, of course, the state of your home. It also depends on the consultation method: an online consultation can achieve more in 2 hrs than an in-person one. Rodika has been successfully consulting in person for over 22 years and long distance for 12 years, which means she has perfected the skill of zooming into the main priorities via videos, photos and online sessions in order to help create the change you desire.

How soon will I see results from my consultation?

You will start seeing beneficial results from your consultation as soon as you start implementing the recommended suggestions. Many clients feel a shift in the energy of their home during the actual feng shui consultation, when a variety of practical and powerful solutions are discussed and chosen.

Do I have to believe in feng shui for it to work?

Feng shui is not a belief system, but rather a pragmatic and precise set of tools. It is an ancient body of knowledge that reveals how to work with the energy around you so that you can benefit from it. Just like one does not have to believe in fire in order for it to burn, the same applies to the field of feng shui. In its essence, authentic feng shui is complex and pure energy work. The confusion with applying feng shui in modern homes mostly comes from the cultural/symbolic layer that is inevitably strong because this powerful art and science originated over 5,000 years ago in China. Feng shui means wind and water, and the focus is on harnessing auspicious energy in order to benefit human’s well-being.

Energy is universal, so it is important to acknowledge that each ancient culture has its own wisdom and its own set of tools to work with it. The beauty of Chinese culture is that it thoroughly recorded and preserved this wisdom, along with other Daoist arts such as the Traditional Chinese Medicine, Qigong, Tai Chi, etc. You do not have to believe in feng shui, but you do have to take this work seriously, if you want to see results. Knowing that you are working with energy, and that it responds to your own quality of energy, makes this work powerful and potentially very fast in achieving the results you are looking for.

Rodika’s current fee is 1,300 USD for a 2 hour consultation.

how to prepare for your feng shui consultation.

Define your goals

The best way to prepare for your feng shui consultation with Rodika is to be very clear with your goals. What do you hope to achieve? What results are you expecting from this consultation? What is not working in your home and in your life? The more clear you are, the quicker the transformation can happen.

Upload the materials

After you book your feng shui consultation, you will receive the link to your private client portal where you can upload your home or office floor plan (with the compass directions and the street address), and any other info relevant to your specific project.

Use a phone or laptop

On the consultation day, it is best to be on your phone or a small laptop so that you can show Rodika your space. The typical online feng shui consultation process is an active one, meaning you will be moving and showing various areas of your home. With real estate projects at specific stages, the work is done by analyzing various documents. This means the time is spent with the client being in front of the computer, as in any typical online meeting.

A video recording of the consultation can be included, at no additional charge, at your request. Note that the follow-up work is not included, meaning if you have further questions about your space, a new session needs to be scheduled.

Most feng shui consultations* with Rodika are offered online via Zoom or Skype. Depending on the size of your home and the issues you want to address, the feng shui work can require more than one session. However, due to Rodika’s deep expertize and over two decades experience as a full-time feng shui consultant, the initial 2 hrs session will create big shifts in your home and help accomplish your goals. She will clearly guide you in the process of transforming the energy of your home in order to help change specific areas of your life.

Rodika Tchi knows how to use the ancient art and science of feng shui to create inspiring, healthy and beautiful spaces to thrive in. Rodika wrote the lyrics (Feng Shui Your New Home) for the work of Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Aaron Jay Kernis at the opening of the National Opera Center America in New York. She is the creator of The Feng Shui Magazine and The Feng Shui Makeover, the online platforms offering practical feng shui information, classes and professional training. With a Master’s degree in Business Communications and a Bachelor’s in Theory of Arts, Rodika studied with several feng shui masters and has professional certification from the Qi-Mag International Feng Shui and Geobiology Institute. She has training in vibrational energy healing, bau-biologie/building biology, crystal healing and permaculture.
