Book Release: Wayfair Witches Book Fourteen

Not gonna lie, I may have shed a tear or two when writing certain parts of this installment of the series. But rest assured, although there are one or two sad moments in this book, there has always been  a happy ending planned for the series, and for all of its characters (except the bad guys, obviously – their idea of a happy ending wouldn’t be much fun for anyone else, would it?).

The blurb and store links are below.

Faking It

When a bat arrives, telling Wanda that he is her familiar, and she is his witch, things get confusing …

Wanda already has a familiar, and he looks exactly like this bat, sounds exactly like this bat, and only eats mangoes – exactly like this bat. Is this new arrival a Doppel-Dizzy, or a sign of something sinister in the air?

As well as finding out why Dizzy now has a double, Wanda must deal with a strangely-behaving Max, and a murdered janitor. The janitor was killed in Wentforth’s College for Wizards, and an important magical object has been stolen from the college, too.

As the body count increases, Wanda and the gang work hard to solve the case. But when they get to the bottom of this mystery, they may not like the answers …

New Release: Wayfair Witches Book Thirteen

Now that Wanda’s been out of prison for a while, it’s time for her to have another adventure. As usual, this one is free in Kindle Unlimited. I hope you enjoy it.

All Tricked Out

When a white rabbit asks for Wanda’s help, she’s hoping for an easy case. It’s just a missing magician, after all. But things in the Magic Hat aren’t all that they seem.

Soon, Wanda is not only trying to track down the rabbit’s lost magician, but she’s also trying to solve a murder.

The Magic Hat is a club on an unusual street, a street with no name. This unnamed street isn’t in a magical enclave, and yet it feels incredibly special. Are the residents human, or are they supernatural? And can the answer to that question help Wanda and her team solve the case?

Book Release: Katy Kramer Book Five

Katy’s back, for an adventure on the Riddler’s Express.  This time,  the train’s got an even higher murder count than usual. As always, it’s free to read in Kindle Unlimited.

The Case of the Treacherous Train

All aboard the Riddler’s Express!

Katy Kramer has a new assignment. She must ride the train to Riddler’s Edge, and keep watch on another passenger, a witch hunter called Hilda Spring.

But when Emmett Fox, the driver and inventor of the train, is murdered, Hilda becomes the least of Katy’s worries. All of the passengers are trapped on board, and are being killed off, one by one.

The Riddler’s Express hides many secrets. There’s something very special about this train, so special that someone is willing to kill in order to get it. Katy, Hamish and Cullen must unravel the train’s mysteries, before they too find themselves dead.

Book Release: Riddler’s Edge Book Ten

Merry the Day After Christmas!

There’s a new release from Riddler’s Edge, and this one is holiday themed.  Hopefully everyone is having a wonderful time, and enjoying some rest, food and reading. I have a stack of new books to get through myself, not to mention the ones on my Kindle, so I’m very glad to have a little bit of time off.  As always, this one is in Kindle Unlimited, and I hope you all enjoy the read.

Totally Married

Jingle Bells, magic spells, marriage lies ahead …

This holiday season, Aisling Smith has everything she ever wanted. She knows what age she is this birthday, she has her parents to celebrate the Winter Solstice and Christmas with and – oh yeah – she’s marrying the love of her life.

But this is Riddler’s Edge, and if Aisling’s learned anything since moving here, it’s that no celebration is ever complete without a murder …

Or two …

The murder victims are integral to Aisling’s wedding – like her DJ, for starters. Is someone trying to stop the wedding, or are they trying to send a message? Either way, Aisling and Dylan need to find out, and soon. Otherwise, the wedding might not happen at all.

Book Release: Wayfair Witches Book Twelve

Wanda’s back for another adventure, but this time she’s not having much fun. She’s doing time in Witchfield Prison. But hey, it’s Wanda. Things’ll be all right in the end.

Doing Time

When Wanda kills Baldrick Berry, there’s only one place for her to go: Witchfield Prison.

Being an inmate isn’t much fun – not when Wanda’s the one who arrested a lot of of the prisoners in the first place. And not when two prisoners have died in mysterious ways. Even Witchfield itself has some secrets to be solved.

But when an angry little dog comes to haunt her, Wanda begins to realise that Baldrick’s death wasn’t quite as simple as it seemed.

Wanda must navigate prison life, deal with an angry ghost, and find out the truth. At the same time, she’s discovering new and frightening aspects to her power, and trying to understand her confusing feelings for Will …

A Little Bit Spacey: A New Release from Riddler’s Edge

It’s all getting  a bit spacey in Riddler’s Edge right now. I hope you have fun with this one.  Here’s the blurb and store links.

Riddler’s Edge Book Nine

Abducted cows?  Crop circles?  Surely Aisling Smith lives in a town filled with magic, and not science fiction.  So why does it seem like the aliens are coming?

At a town festival, a popular cow disappears.  The following day, it’s a man who’s vanished.  As more and more animals go missing, and crop circles appear around town, Aisling learns that the same thing has happened in Riddler’s Edge once before.  Have the missing men and animals been abducted by aliens, or is the culprit closer to home?

A New Release from Riddler’s Edge

The eighth book of the series is out today, and while we’re having a very soggy summer in most parts of Ireland, in Riddler’s Edge things are much, much worse …

A Little Bit Chilly

It’s summertime in Riddler’s Edge, so how come it feels so chilly?

While the town prepares for a performance of The Snow Queen: The Musical, some very frosty murders occur. Have the victims been frozen by an over-enthusiastic air conditioner, or is there magic involved?

Aisling will need her friends to help her crack this case, so it’s a little unfortunate that Dylan is avoiding them all. He also has a secret visitor at the lighthouse, and Aisling is itching to get to the bottom of that little mystery, just as soon as she stops the entire town from freezing to death …

As always, it’s free in Kindle Unlimited.  Here are the Amazon store links:

New Release: Slippery Slope (A Riddler’s Edge Side Story)

Hi Everyone,

Firstly, I want to tell you all that there’s a story from the Riddler’s Edge world out today, featuring Pru as the narrator.  She and Greg take a trip to the enclave of Snowy Hollow, where it’s always winter. And, because my characters are just darned unlucky, they wind up in a spot of trouble while they’re there.  The blurb and the store links are at the bottom.

If you’ve been following my website or my newsletter, you’ll know that I was unsure of whether to keep releasing while all of this was going on. But so many people wrote to me to tell me that reading is keeping them sane right now, so as long as people want to read my books, I’ll keep writing them (honestly, I’m not sure I could stop if I tried!). Here’s a little idea of what I’m planning for the coming months:

There’ll be another release from the main series this summer, with Ash as the narrator once more – I’m working on it right  now, and having a blast. I’d always intended for the Riddler’s Edge series to be seven books – everything was wrapped up and the characters got their happy endings.  But so many new ideas kept cropping up that I just had to get back to the series.  There will be a little bit more from Katy Kramer, too,  albeit a little later this year – Hamish still has to find a way to become a man again, after all.  I can’t leave that guy hanging! And there’s another Wayfair Witches adventure plotted as well – I’m really looking forward to writing that one.

In other news, we’re still on lockdown here in Ireland, although they have reopened garden centres and hardware stores, which is a relief, because gardening and DIY keep my husband busy

New Release: Katy Kramer Book Four

I have to admit, I’ve been putting off the release of this book for a couple of days.  The world is in a bit of a strange state right now, so telling you guys to go out and grab my latest seems a little unimportant.  Not only are a lot of us scared for our loved ones and ourselves, but there are so many huge changes in everything we do. Over here a lot of businesses have shut down, schools are closed and … well, it’s crazy. There’s been no shortage of toilet roll in my local shops though, so there’s that …

Myself and people I know are getting to the stage where the constant influx of bad news is hard to take. So today when I’m finished writing,  I’m going to bake some banana bread and try to finally sit down and read a book instead of the news. If reading’s what you guys do to keep some sanity, then great. But whatever it is – a walk (if you can in your area), playing with your dog, hanging out with your kids, baking a cake or doing some clumsy yoga (your own brand of yoga might be more graceful than mine) – whatever it is that makes life feel a little more normal today, I hope you make some time for that.

I know some folk will be off work because of all this, and books just aren’t a priority purchase. Because of that this book’ll be 99c right through till next Sunday, Plus, if you haven’t started this particular series, then book one’s gonna be free from the 25th until the 29th of March, so keep a look out for that. And if you purchase from the US or UK stores, then book two will be 99c/99p during those same dates.  If you’ve got a Kindle Unlimited subscription, my books are always free. Oh, and if you’re one of the people who’s busier then ever at work because of this, then thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I don’t know what else to say except stay safe, stay sane, and I really wish the best for you and the ones you love.

The Case of the Strange  Society

Things are getting strange on Samhain Street …

Derek Carey is dead, but his family don’t think it was an accident. They think he was murdered, and all because he wanted to leave the Warlock Society.

There’s more than just Derek’s death to investigate. Katy is getting closer than ever to finding Aunt Jude, and Hamish has gone missing when she needs him most. She also discovers, finally, what the Not-So-Strange Society has been planning all along – and it’s a plan that frightens her to the core.

Samhain Street is about to change, and not for the better. An ancient evil is coming, and Katy needs to stop it in its tracks. To do that, she’ll need more than just a cup of sugary tea. She’ll need all her friends by her side, especially Ned.

But when Ned finds out that Katy is a hunter, will she still help Katy save the day?

New Release: Katy Kramer Book Three

Katy’s back with another mystery for you all.  The poor girl can’t even take some time to go to night school without finding a body in the library!  In this one, she also learns a little bit more about the mysterious Aunt Jude.

Hope you all enjoy it.  Book four, The Case of the Strange Society, will be coming in mid-late March. Blurb, cover and store links are below – as always, it’s free in Kindle Unlimited.

The Case of the Listening Library

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing …

When Katy Kramer discovers a body in the college library, the death appears to be an accident.  But like most things in Katy’s life, nothing is quite as it seems.

More deaths occur in Wentforth’s College for Wizards, and with one of Hamish’s former students as the chief suspect, Katy and Hamish are hired to solve the case and clear her name.

There are yet more mysteries which need urgent solving.  The Not-So-Strange Society’s influence seems to be spreading throughout the enclave, and only Katy, her friends, and the mysterious Society of Cacklers seem to be concerned.
