Audio Updates

One of the plans for this year is to catch up with my backlist on audio and release new titles on audio as soon as possible. So let’s catch up on where we are with that.

Audible Delays

Unfortunately, Audible has a massive backlog at the moment, causing long delays in the approval of audio books. It used to take about two weeks, but we sent off Daddy on February 17, and it’s still not live. We’re hoping it will be out any day now, but there’s little we can do.

I’m also waiting for Snow Way Out, which was sent off on March 6, so that’s been over two weeks as well.

So far, the only audio release this year has been Smolder, so there’s that. Sigh. We’re trying, that’s all I can say.

Coming Up

Kenneth has started recording Burn, which should be done in a few days, so hopefully that will go live some time in April. After that, he’ll work on Slow Hand so that will release not too long after the book releases. Once that’s done, he’s gonna start on my backlist…and first up is my Irresistible Omegas series! He’ll start working on Alpha’s Sacrifice mid-April, and after that, one or two per month are scheduled, so we hope to have the whole series about by the end of the summer. I can’t wait to hear him voice Lidon and his men. It’s gonna be epic…

Cover Reveal Perfect Hands Book Four

Master Ford’s story is coming! If you’ve read Firm Hand, Gentle Hand, and Naughty Hand, you’ll remember Master Ford. He’s a Dom and he was Rhys’s mentor. Now it’s time to hear/reads his story, and it’s gonna be a wild one!

Slow Hand

His book will be called Slow Hand, and if you’re like me, you’ll be humming that song now. “I want a lover with a slow hand…” Trust me, I’ve had it stuck in my head ever since I started writing this book, haha. But as you guys will see, the title really fits him and this story. But I’m not gonna reveal too much right now. We’ll keep that for later.

I don’t have a release date yet, but it will be March, most likely. I’m about 15k in right now, and I’m loving it. But buckle up because you’re in for a ride with this one…

Two Books in Foreign Languages Released

I’m super happy and proud to announce that this week, two of my books have been released in foreign languages. It’s a massive thrill to see my books in a translated form, and I couldn’t be more proud.

L’occasione della Vita: The Time of my Life in Italian

Yesterday, The Time of my Life released in Italian under the title L’occasione Della Vita. It was published by Quixote Editione, a well-known publisher of gay romance translated into Italian. It has a gorgeous cover and the first reviews are amazing, so yay. Here’s the blurb in Italian:

Judah ha toccato il fondo. È al verde, non ha una casa, e ormai ha sfruttato troppo l’ospitalità dei suoi amici. I can read a little Italian since I took five years of Latin and I speak both French and Spanish, so it was enough to get the main points of this lovely review, for example. Here’s a quote:

“Lo stile è fluido, ricco di particolari e i tanti dialoghi sono spigliati e aperti, ci sono tante scene di sesso ben descritte e leggendo capirete anche perché della loro presenza costante, oltre naturalmente alla passione. I personaggi secondari sono ben caratterizzati e fondamentali per la storia, due in particolare hanno stuzzicato il mio interesse e vorrei tanto leggere la loro storia.”

“Dalla sinossi avevo la grande paura di avere per le mani un romanzo più incentrato sullo show e la gara dei partecipanti, l’ennesima storiella di due ragazzi alla ricerca della fama e del successo, invece sono rimasta molto sorpresa nel leggere una bella storia d’amore, condita da tanta musica, ma con al centro la crescita personale ed emotiva di questi due ragazzi.”
