First Book Blogger Review

I received my first review from a book blogger today and am humbled.❤️

https://booktraveller.weebly.com/revi...

"The originality of the plot is a breath of fresh air in the world of historical thrillers and the level of suspense is enough to make any heart skip a few beats.

The seductive and hypnotic style of writing pulls the reader deep into the story of this murderess and turns this journey of sin, obsession and murder into a pleasant ride. Pohlkamp is a magician with words, so smooth and seductive that will make readers fall for her novel like clockwork."

The inspiration for Apricots and Wolfsbane

Most serial killers are men (or the ones that are caught, at least...), so it may surprise you to learn that the world's first known serial killer was Locusta of Gaul, an assassin and poisons expert responsible for the deaths of some *very* notable Romans. I'm on Dirty, Sexy History today with the story of Locusta and the the rumors of her death by...giraffe?
