Finally!

I’ve been stuck on chapter 8 for months now, but I finally managed to push through and finish it! Hopefully this means the rest of the book should be easy to finish.

I also started a wattpad account. I’m considering also making a fiction press account and a few others to post on. I’ll add links after I’m past the initial story that I’ve already posted under the stories section of my site.

One thing I’ve learned from reading is that, if there seems to be a continuity error, it might actually be a clue.

Update Update

My laptop died, so I haven’t been able to access this site as readily as I’d like. I’m going to go through and update a few pages.

As far as what’s new, I finished a short story and submitted it, so we’ll see if it gets published!

Also, will be publishing more Nascent-related short stories soon-ish on free-to-read platforms.

Update: didn’t do so great at nanowrimo, but I’ve ordered a new laptop. Maybe having a functional computer will help get me writing. I’m starting to thing that my laptop breaking a year ago has been the biggest thing hindering my writing. I’ll soon change the expected publication date for The Kirin Prince.

Nanowrimo

I was hoping to work on a draft of another project this year, but I’m still plodding away at The Kirin Prince. I know that the event is meant to help writers generate a quick rough draft, but I’m just so far behind… But here’s hoping I can finish the revision by the end of the month!

Interesting day

Today, I went to the local library to print out more zines. I made 10 copies of the short story one (it’s been popular at one of the spots I’ve been leaving it) and 6 of a poetry one that I won’t be posting here. It’s just a local release. Anyway, while folding stuff by the printer, I watched someone fail to print a document, so I asked if she needed help. I walked her through the steps and helped get her document printed successfully.

While waiting for her document to print, she asked me wha...

Zine

I’ve added a zine version of The First of the Hounds so that the story can be enjoyed by anyone, even if you don’t have a Barnes and Noble account. I didn’t realize how annoying it was to download free files from there until I tested it myself one day out of curiosity… I’ll have to see about other places where I can host these stories for free that are more easily accessible…

But for now, there’s a zine link! Feel free to download it, print it off, and share it with people!

Unfortunately, wit...

Rekindled(?)

I was talking to a friend I hadn’t spoken to in ages and told her about The Descent of the Nascent. She got really excited, which made me more excited abiut my writing in turn. She bought a copy of my book on the spot and asked me to bring in a copy to the library to get put on the shelves. I told her I had promotional ideas that I never finished. So I ended up immediately sitting down at a computer once we went our separate ways and finishing the material in question. It’s just a zine versio...

Whew! The past few months were much more intense than anticipated! I’m going to update my release date for The Kirin Prince, as I’m not nearly as far through the revision as I’d like to be right now, and summer is rapidly ending.

But I did finally get the print version out, so that’s nice! It took me a long time, and I had some difficulty setting things up. But I now know how the site works, so I’m hoping there won’t be a 1-year delay between the ebook and the print. Also, I’ll soon reupload...

Hiatus

It’s been a while, but I’m finally back. A lot has happened while I was away.

Luckily, I have several short stories drafted and am on the final revision for The Kirin Prince. I’m hoping to stick to my original “summer 2018” release date. Since Summer lasts until September, that should be plenty of time.

I’m still working on the final print version of The Descent of the Nascent, and once that’s out, I’ll update the ebook version and republish that.

I feel like I have this whole shopping list o...
