A spiritual journey in a sense, but grounded in an old man’s telling of life in the pulpit. I felt “touched by an angel.”

Terresa Cooper is reading Gilead: This is a book that calls for the world to hush while the reader climbs inside the covers and tunes out his/her own life. Very spiritual but also very accessible. I had to put the book away for now. Consider it finished. I was not worthy of hearing its messages or receiving its blessings at this moment.
