Book Club Questions!! I know, I know–it’s almost as exciting as a real book release. Now you can pick a lovely autumn night to gather with your friends and a few bottles of wine, and discuss Coven! And if that is something you are interested in doing, shoot me an email. I would happily send your book club a physical copy of the book to have on hand, as well as try calling in!

Leading lady revealed!!!
First and foremost, thank you to all who voted! It was a pleasant surprise to see who won…and by how much! It was a tight race up until the very end, but…..Quinn came out victorious!!!
I truly think the right name brings a character to life. It reveals something about their personality and gives them meaning. It makes them real. I’m terribly excited to start writing this kick butt woman. She’s a spitfire still learning how to deal with her rocky past in the only way she knows how……that’s all I’ll say for now, lest I ruin the surprises to come from the next #SoulmarkSeries book!

Decision Time

Naming characters when writing a new story is definitely a fun, if not slightly odious, task. Names carry a lot of weight when creating and building characters. They help shape an image of who you are bringing to life. Finding the names for Xander and Zoelle & co. was easy enough (except for Irina who had about 5 name changes over the course of writing Coven). Since the subsequent books in this series will stay (mostly) within the range of characters already introduced, I don’t have too much to mull over. In fact, I already have names picked out for several future character’s already…just not the main character for book 2…
Yikes.
That’s why I need your help! I’ve narrowed down my choices for the lead female’s name, but can’t seem to pick which I like best. Based on the results of the poll below–which will also be listed on my Facebook page–I’ll go with the top picked name!

It’s Here!
I can’t believe the time has come! Coven (Soulmark Series Book 1) is now out and can be downloaded on Amazon!!
Pushing the ‘Save & Publish’ button gave me literal goosebumps, and I’m still reveling in the satisfaction of having written a book and putting it up online for sale. I’m also still feeling a tad……….excited.

The Countdown Begins
It’s hard to believe that it’s almost time to publish my first ebook. Except, it’s not so much hard as it is terrifying. I feel as if there is still a thousand tiny details I need to straighten out before I can get my self to push that submit button on Amazon…but I can’t stall any longer. I gave myself a deadline.
Finish before the end of June.
…and I have finished…it’s just those thousand tiny details rearing their extra tiny heads yelling at me not to forget them. Create a website. Create a blog. Don’t forget social media! Have you looked up the most recent ebook sales stats?
They go on and on and on, but–I’ll be ready. Come Friday, Coven: A Soulmark Series will make its grand debut! And for a limited time only, July 2-6, Coven will be available for free!!
