Blogger Virgin
My name is Bianca Pheasant and I’m an indie author. And as most indies know, it’s not easy. Don’t get me wrong, writing is not that difficult. It’s everything that needs to happen after those two triumphant but dreaded words, THE END.
What do I mean by that? Well… now that I’ve finished my book, the hard work begins. Editing, reviewing, more editing, more reviewing. Formatting, preview, start format from scratch. And then last but definitely not least… MARKETING.
I have to be honest and tell you that I absolutely hate marketing. And to make things worst, I am not a social media fan and to my horror, most marketing takes place on… you guessed it, social media.
So… I decided to start a blog because it’s already part of my website (no idea how it got there, by the way). And I am willing to bet that I am not the only one staring these struggles in the eye every single day of my writing life.
What am I going to blog about?
I thought about starting a diary; capturing the life and struggles of an indie author’s journey from a full-time job to full-time writing. After all, it’s what most of us hope to achieve through our writing, isn’t it?
Today’s diary entry is only the intro to my ‘blogging diary‘.
The first entry will be blogged tonight (OMG, is there even a word like blogged)
