N - Nougat

Looking at you,
listening to you,
caring for you,
protecting you,
while you were right,
even when you were wrong,
I was always there,
By you side,
in stride,
but you
made me feelike
a NOUGAT in a chocolate bar,

M - Macroon

She was scared
to go on stage
when she was 5.
All of 35
she is scared
to meet her in-laws
for the first time.
What I say to her is still the same,
You are one of a kind -
a Macroon
don’t forget this and smile.





 

L - Lemon-cupcake

Waiting at the railway station
I kept checking the watch.
I wanted to see her
Before I boarded on.
For fear to be seen along
she came all covered on.
Her fears always makes me angry.
But she came and hugged me straight
And my Lemon-cupcake stole
my heart all over again.




                  

K - Kiwi Cooler

He always keeps his cool.
I may get angry
And let out my frustrations.
He keeps his smile on,
Saying things that just
melts my heart.
He is my evergreen
Kiwi Cooler
Soothing for all seasons.




     

J - Jalebi

What do you like most about him?
The way he weaves little stories -
starting with one,
leading to another.
Everything adding up to
what he wants,
making one yearn
for more alongside.
A Jalebi of sorts -
An entangled sweet mesh
giving pleasure to

I - Ice cream

Driving her homefor the first time,I just wishedThe journey never ended.What made me haltwas the ice cream parlorFor her love for me,was just like thatbothCOLD and SWEET.

H - Honey Buns

Anger was written
All over her face.
I wanted her to talk to me,
vent her anger on me.
Bearing red eyes
she kept smiling
cracking silly jokes.
And didn't give me a chance
To say
'Honey Buns, you are hurting me more'.






                                             

G - Gelato

Sort caresses
Long cuddles
Sweet nothings et al
What melts my heart
is the way he says -
You are my Gelato after all.






                                                                     

F - Fruitcake

Tiny eyes
And pointed nose.
A chiselled face
And sleek hair.
Supple hands,
And the suave dressing.
His eyes had the calm
I searched for in every girl
Little did I know that

E - Eclair

He is tall and smart
A sharp businessman
bearing a heart of gold.
He mixes effortlessly
with kids and elders alike
A strong jawline,
but a soft smile
He is the life of the party
and is adored by all.
Man like him are a rarity
just like the perfect Eclair.
