My poem is inspired by August and my life in Albuquerque. The heat we make, and sometimes fear during our fight for Liberation— and in solidarity with the People of Lebanon. An article I read, by the WAPO, with the tagline, “Resign or Hang!”, quoting the protest chants in Beirut, filled me with envy, I admit. Sheer Envy. Can Read more of this blog post »
