Ruth S. Hamilton was born in Swansea, Wales and emigrated to South Africa as a child, where she still lives.

She is the author of "Beautiful - Simple, everyday advice for improving your self-esteem and living the life you deserve" - now available for upload on Amazon.

A social crusader and single parent to a teenage daughter, she founded The Pretty Awesome Project in 2013, an initiative designed to raise awareness about healthy self-esteem among teenage girls and young women. Writing 'Beautiful' was an extension of this project, and a way for Ruth to achieve a long-standing dream.. to write a book.
