September, how I've missed thee!

The seasons are changing and the temperature is finally dropping, and with September's arrival, we've got a new blog post full of news and updates!

As of last night, all work on Petrichor, the finale to the Tempest Series, has been completed! The files have been sent off to our ebook maker, and Sun and I are just waiting on things to be approved on our end before we can throw our hands in the air and celebrate another book's completion. We're scheduled to go live on September 22, so mark your calendars and get your pre-orders in on amazon now! And, if any of you are curious about signed pre-orders, check out tdcloud.tumblr.com for information on how to order one of those. It comes with a special pre-order short story as well that will tie into the prequel, Apricity, which is scheduled to come out sometime early next year. Don't miss it!

Work on my first erotica title Epithymy is also going very swimmingly. The manuscript is fully written and revised, so all that's left is to wait for the cover art to come. We're still looking at a Halloween publication date on that, and as things finish more information regarding pre-orders and pricing will be made available.

Going to Youmacon in November? So am I! If you'd like to meet me and get your copy of Brontide, Deluge, or Petrichor signed, I'll be attending the convention and available for free signatures! I love meeting my readers, so if you're there definitely keep an eye on my tdcloud tumblr blog for updates on where I am and how to find me.

As for future projects, I've news on that end too. I'm currently three chapters into Apricity, and I've begun work also on my next one-shot romance novel involving a dhampir, a vampire hunter, and a tragedy that sparks something more than just animosity. Once the new year hits I'll be posting character profiles and teasers on my tumblr blog, so if that sounds like something you'd like, definitely keep an eye out!

2018 is looking to be a great year for new ideas, new characters, and even more great books, and I'm so excited to go into it stronger than ever. Please enjoy Petrichor once it goes live, and keep an eye out for more news as it comes.

Until next time!

August 6, 2017

It's finally August

August is finally here and I welcome it with open arms. July was a pretty intense month of finishing multiple book projects, commissions, and approving all sorts of fun things for the upcoming release of Petrichor. I hope you all have been keeping an eye on my facebook and tumblr because let me tell you, it's a stupidly beautiful cover.

On that note, I've just sent off for the first proof of Petrichor to begin reviewing things like cover color (did you guys know Amazon loves to print my books extra dark?), interior layout, content and formatting errors, and a the physical proof reading stage. It means a lot of work for me but also that we're all getting so much closer to publication! Mark your calendars for the release on September 22, because you're all in for a hell of a ride.

In other Tempest Series news, I've finished my preliminary chapter notes for the next book in the series. Apricity is a prequel that takes place right as the first Milesians begin coming to Ireland, and it takes us through the story of Aisling, the first Seelie Queen, as she struggles to protect her Court against a foe she is unwilling to fight. You'll get to see the history of the Courts be made as well as learn more about Aisling, Avenir, and a young, brash Ruari, General of the Queen's army. I'm incredibly excited to begin working on this in the coming weeks (as is my artist, Ambi Sun. Aisling is her ultimate favorite character). Release on this book is unknown, but definitely expect it early next year.

I've also got good news for those of you who enjoy erotica titles! I've finished my other book project (yes, I had two of them going on at once, I'm an idiot, I know), Epithymy, and I've begun work on revising and editing it into something I can bear sharing with you all. It's a drow/human polyamorous S&M styled book, so lovers of fantasy should be exceedingly happy with what I've created. I think its a really good time and I'm incredibly excited to be working on this book not with my usual partner, Ambi Sun, but with my paramour, who happens to be another artist of considerable talent. More news and sneak previews will happen later, so do try to keep an eye on my main blogs and pages for that.

I think that's about it for updates. I hope that July was as productive for all of you as it was for me! Can't wait to see what all I get done for this month too. Until next time~

Progress update

Since we're halfway through July, I figured it was time for an update on current projects and what to expect in the next coming weeks!

- Petrichor is done and awaiting revisions, so Patreon patrons (patreon.com/terminallydepraved) can expect sneak peeks, the cover reveal, and possible wip sketches of interior chapter art. Release on this book is scheduled for the Fall Equinox, so mark your calendars for September 22 for the thrilling conclusion to the Tempest Series!

- I'm currently over half done with my next book project and it's scheduled to be completed at the end of this month (fingers crossed). It's a fantasy book with bdsm elements, Drow, and polyamory so get psyched for that! (This will be a fic first and I'll be releasing the chapter notes and all that on patreon as well. If you've any comments/criticism/edits, please let me know too! I'm hoping my usual readers can serve as a sort of focus group before I turn it into original fiction)

- I've begun working on the chapter notes for Apricity, the prequel to the Tempest Series main books and I'm hoping to work on the book during August. I'm not sure yet when to expect the finished product to be published, but you can definitely expect it either around December or early next year, my artist's time permitting!

- Are you into anthologies? I've been working on one with some friends! It's horror themed and it should hopefully be ready sometime at the beginning of August. I'll be promoting it here, patreon, facebook, and on tumblr as well, so keep an eye out for that too. It will be available for free download off of gumroad and will contain works from a few of my writer and artist friends!

Whoo, that's a lot isn't it? As you can imagine, I'm hard at work this month seeing to all of these projects. I should also have a few commissions posted on patreon and ao3 soon as well from some of my higher tiered patrons, so expect some more fandom content soon as well if you follow me on any of those platforms.

Also! Have you got Facebook? Turns out I'm now on there! Follow me for updates on projects, giveaways, events, and more and help get my work out there! The link should be attached to my profile, so head on over and check things out.

Until next time~

July 5, 2017

Hello!!

Hi everyone! I'm T.D. Cloud, author of The Tempest Series, and I'm very excited to begin my first foray on Goodreads as an author! This blog will mainly be for keeping you all updated on my current book projects, any deals or events I'm holding, and where you can access additional content and social media sites that are tailored to enhance your consumption of my work. I'll also be available for Q&A's here as well, which I'm very eager to do!

A little background on me, your valiant leader: I was born and raised in rural Indiana to a family with far too much land and not enough entertainment. I spent my days exploring the nearby woods, reading, and annoying my three older siblings as was my duty as the youngest. My nights were spent reading late into the early mornings by flashlight, or, once I was older, sneaking out of the house to walk down to the old cemeteries to sit and watch the clouds roll by the moon. I cut my teeth on Gothic literature and Decadence, and I like to think that my writing reflects that.

Upon graduating high school in a class of 56, I moved to the city to go to college, receiving my Bachelors of History with a minor in Medieval Studies and Art History in the winter of 2016. I currently work part time at an automobile museum where I'm surrounded by living pieces of the past, and for the rest of the week I focus on my writing.

And of my writing, I must admit that I'm very new to the author-sphere. I've only been writing professionally since October of 2016. Before that I wrote for a hobby, mostly off and on during high school and occasionally during college when I wasn't wrist-deep in an academic papers. Writing as I do now is something that only really picked up in 2015 during my junior year of college, and it's quickly spiraled into something I can't live without, and it's been so great getting to share my work with everyone through the form of books.

I've a lot planned for the rest of 2017, and so much more in store for 2018. If you'd like to be kept up-to-date on what's coming soon, definitely check out my tumblr page at tdcloud.tumblr.com, or my facebook page which is coming soon too!

Also, to all of my Tempest fans out there, revision work is currently being done on Petrichor, the third (and final) installment of The Tempest Series, so expect more information on that within the next few weeks! If you check out my tumblr, you can see exclusive sneak peeks at the cover design, too. Trust me, it's gorgeous!

Thank you all for supporting me as I make my way in the writing world! I can't wait to share with you what all I've got planned!
