How to Make Matcha À La Mode (Matcha Ice Cream)

I will show you how to make Matcha A La Mode.

A La Mode is French word meaning “in fashion” and describes a sweet dish with ice cream.

Matcha A La Mode is basically matcha with ice cream.

To make Matcha A La Mode, mix 1 tablespoon of matcha with cup of hot water with a temperature of 175 degrees f (or 80 degree c) and whisk them until they form little bubbles.

You can use a bamboo whisk, electric whisk, Milk Frother or simply a metal whisk.

We are very excited to have been selected as one of the lucky vendors to host our product at the Portland Night Market happening Dec 13-16 2018 at The Custom Blocks (900 SE Main St, Portland, OR 97214) from December 13 – 16. (December 13 is for limited buyer with ticket purchase; Dec 14 – 16 are for general public and is free)

Japanese Green Tea Company Wins Global Tea Championship 2 Years in a Row

On October 9 2018, Global Tea Championship announced that Japanese Green Tea Company to win Silver Medal for the Matcha Category. 

Japanese Green Tea Company Won Global Tea Championship in 2017 under Steamed Green Tea Category. 

This makes the company to win the Championship 2 years in a row.

Japanese Green Tea Company at Northwest Tea Festival 2018, Seattle WA

Japanese Green Tea Company held a booth at Northwest Tea Festival 2018 in Seattle from 9/29/2018 - 9/30/2018.

This was our first consumer related fair experience.  We were very overwhelmed with all the tea lovers who came to the fair, but at the same time very excited to meet and hear what people had to say about our products.  Thanks to all the help from everyone involved, the fair was a very successful event for us.
