David’s Story…

Finally, I’ve decided on a name for David and Chloe’s story. Because we first met him in Blackmailing his Love, I decided to add his story to the series – His Love

So its going to be called-  Claiming his Love

David is a bit bossy, a whole lot alpha and always wants his way so this name is perfect for his and Chloe’s story. Don’t believe me , here’s an excerpt…

“Open your eyes.” He ordered.

I hesitated and he squeezed my chin hard, but not painfully. I got the message. When I opened them I gasped at how close he was. I could feel his breath on my mouth and I’ve never felt so aroused. His blue eyes weren’t as blue as I’d thought, this close I could see tiny flecks of brown. My eyes dropped to his firm lips remembering how they’d felt on mine. I heard him groan and my eyes flicked back to his.

“The way you look at me…” he trailed off. “I was going to give you more time but fuck it, you’re mine. Everyone knows it but you.”

“What?”

“You heard me Chloe, I’m through dancing around. I tried to ease you into a relationship with me, I was willing to go slow and let you get used to me but I’m not waiting any longer.”

“You’re not waiting any longer?” I parroted.

He studied my face, saw my confusion.

“I’ve shocked you.”

“You only kissed me an hour ago.”

“I’ve wanted you since you started working here nearly a year ago.”

Wow. I couldn’t be more surprised. “I’ve liked you since then too.” I admit. I don’t like games and I’m not experienced enough to play them anyway.

“I know.”

I blushed. “It was obvious?”

“To me, yes.”

“I never in my wildest dreams expected this.”

“Here is what’s going to happen. We’re going to date, we’ll go for dinner, to the cinema, all the normal things couples do. Then you’re moving in with me.”

“What?” I almost screeched.

He ignored my outburst. “Once you’re comfortable with me we’ll get married and start a family. How do you feel about two kids?”

I’m so excited for you all to read this, hopefully I’ll have it finished soon!

Writing…

So, yesterday while our youngest was asleep and the eldest was playing with her toys I figured I would try and write some of my work in progress.

I was happily writing away when all of a sudden my characters, David and Chloe, decided now was the time they would have sex. Now, that’s all well and good, I’m happy for them, they deserve some fun, but when my daughter came and sat right next to me chattering away about her birthday (she’s four next month) I just couldn’t do it. I’m afraid to say, I left David hanging. If this was real life I would have one angry man, but luckily for me I can just switch him off!

My husband needs to build me an office… or a shed.

“I’m listening then Grace.” He said, his calm voice at odds with his tense body.

Grace took a deep breath, and nodded. “I’m being stalked.”

Jason raised his eyebrows. “Have you called the police?”

“Yes but they have no leads. They have nothing. I don’t know what to do and I don’t feel safe.” She peaked up at him through her lashes and immediately regretted it, his face hadn’t even softened a little. “I keep being sent flowers, chocolates and love letters.” She added.

“Sounds more like an admirer than a stalker. There is nothing I can do for you except tell you to be more careful about who you date.” Jason carried on, ignoring her gasp. “If you didn’t lead men on you wouldn’t have this situation.”

The hurt ripped through her at his callous words and her eyes took in his shuttered face making her insides seize. Grace couldn’t speak because she knew her voice would break and there was no way she wanted Jason to see the devastation he’d just unleashed upon her. Climbing off the stool in silence she walked out of the kitchen on unsteady legs, not looking at Peter or Jason again. When she made it to the front door she quickly opened it and stepped outside.

 

Find out if Grace really deserved to be spoken to like that. I promise Jason isn’t as bad as he sounds.

Surprise!

While I’m writing David’s story I keep thinking about his introduction in Blackmailing his Love. He is quite mysterious and a little bit scary but he is loyal and doesn’t hesitate to help Alex when he needs it. He even goes as far as defending Callie and he knows nothing about her at that point. He is a great guy and I think everyone should get a glimpse of him.

This is why I’ve decided to make Blackmailing his Love free for four days, starting tomorrow.

So, read Callie and Alex’s story, see if they can find their happily ever after despite the obstacles they face, including the huge one of Alex blackmailing her…

Meet David and see if you love him just as much as I do and hopefully by some miracle my babies will give me time to write and it wont be long until David is in your hands too.

On to the next.

I’m currently writing David’s story, he first appeared in Blackmailing his love. He’s a tough cookie he loves his Chloe and he isn’t afraid to show her, tell her and make her see, however he’s pushing hard because he likes getting his own way. 

Chloe on the other hand is sweet, nervous and a little intimidated by him. She loves him, she always has, but she’s struggling with how fast he wants things to move. 

Right now, they are at her home and he’s told her what he wants, he’s just waiting for her to get on the same page… 

I’m really enjoying writing this because David is so different to the hero’s I’ve already written. He’s abrupt and he’s a little bit scary and he has a past we don’t know about yet, we don’t know why his name can bring a grown man to his knees yet, but I’m sure we will find out soon enough.

Happy reading

Writing, or at least trying to…

Trying to write when you have a cutie little baby who wants mummy cuddles all the time is like trying to make a coffee in a chocolate mug- you really want it to work but it just isn’t happening! I’m not complaining, I love my cuddles but I have all these people in my head wanting out and its getting loud so I’ve now filled a notebook of ideas and have to go and buy a new one.

Anyway, I have news, I have a book coming out on the 10th April and I’m really excited about it.

Unlikely Love is one of the first books I wrote. I loved getting to know the characters and seeing them become who they are.

Scarlett is a strong woman, she’s had to be with all the trouble her sister Ruby has caused her, but when she meets James she instantly realises that he could be the one person she can lean on when she needs too.

James is strong too, an alpha male who knows what he wants and makes sure he gets it but he has vulnerabilities which pop up at a bad time and cause a misunderstanding.

They both know how they feel about each other but they both kind of fight it while going head first into it and it was fun writing their story.
