Heading to Cambridge

After a brief lull, I'm excited to get back to a busy schedule of readings and author events.

Next up, I'll be headed to the Cambridge (WI) Library, where I'll be reading from "Raised By Wolves" and offering an early glimpse of what's up next.

A mystery writer and Mystery to Me

I just received this very kind assessment from bestselling author Kathleen Ernst, whose debt I am forever in for taking the time to read my silly little book:

"Raised By Wolves is a charming collection with universal appeal. Matt Geiger delves into the heart of common experience with wit, humility, and vivid detail. Highly recommended."

Also, just a reminder that I'll be at Mystery To Me bookstore the evening of February 9. Looks like Doug Moe will be interviewing me. I'm not worthy of such an honor, but I'll be there nonetheless.

Chickens, F. Scott Fitzgerald and Michael Perry

What started as a normal day turned into the kind of day on which New York Times bestselling author Michael Perry gave me a shout out on his blog (see below).

I'll be sure to include even more chickens and lost generation writers in my next book.

Life is good.
