Style Studio in Rathdrum Idaho, A Friendly Hair Salon

[image error]In Rathdrum Idaho, there is a cute little hair salon called Style Studio right off of highway 41. The owner, Beth Davis, is a stylist and nail specialist. She is very friendly and her place [image error]gives a feel of comfort and welcome. I found her charm to be refreshing and her joking-side amusing, plus- I love my new haircut. Beth also offers her clients’ drinks (including wine and beer) and she also offers snacks. Her prices are really reasonable. I will return!

Check out Style Studio’s website an...

ANCESTOR OF THE DAY: King of Scythia, Bathath Farssaidh

The ancestor of the day doesn’t have much information about his life other than that he was the king of the Scythians. If we choose to write a book on him it will have to be total fiction. If we do write about him I would like to gather information before and after his time, also what else we can dig up that went on around his time. This would give me an idea of Bathath and who he might have been. My cousin A.A. Kelly is doing a great job with her research.

Magog- Ancestor of the Day…

How many people can say that they can trace their ancestors all the way back to Noah of the bible? Well, My Cousin has accomplished this. I have found complete amazement by what my Cousin has been digging up that I have asked if I can share. We are also going to co-author a series of fictional books based off the ancestors from our direct line. My Cousin enjoys the research and I enjoy writing books. This will be fun!

I know that many could trace back to this ancestor, we all are branches off...

2017: A Limitless Life (HappyNewYear)

Author H.E. Olsen

By H.E. Olsen

Unlimited (2)

It’s human nature to set limitations, to put limits in our relationships, throughout our emotions, and in or around everything that touches our lives.

I have lived in a world of limitations. I now sit at the center watching it destroy lives around me. I, myself, through past hurt, pain, fear, and out of frustrations have set limitations. Through the boundaries I created from these limitations I realized that this is all just another form of control. We try...

Beyond the Birth of Jesus

The Nativity story is found in Matthew chapters 1-2

(I researched some of this info on google and also found this picture there :)…I had to use it!)

Joseph, a man of God, was tossing and turning stressing over the condition of his betrothed Mary, in their world of strict traditions- to be pregnant without a husband brought shame to one’s home and a reason to cancel the commitment of marriage. Joseph felt deep inside that Mary was no longer a virgin.

To be a virgin is to be pure, to have no b...

BOOK REVIEW: The Gift is in the Giving by Bill Arienti (A great holiday read)

“If you need help getting into the Christmas spirit this book will do it!”

This Fireman needs a standing ovation. While I read this book I became amazed by the circumstances and the outcomes. The gifts in this book are miraculous. Who needs superheroes when you have a fireman like the fireman in this book! This is what Christmas is all about. The fireman in The Gift is in the Giving sees so much loss and destruction. He does what he can to bring hope and inspiration. This fireman is a hero....

Book Review: Where the Water Rages by Jacquelyn Sill

[image error]I just finished Where the Water Rages by Jacquelyn Sill. What an amazing story! Jacquelyn Sill did a great job portraying, not just physical struggle, but our inner struggle as well- oh, how our emotional waters can rage.

Jacquelyn also did an amazing job bringing to light sex trafficking and how it affects the child. Jacquelyn wrote on this subject very delicately. Her book is a must read! Also, don’t forget the tissue near the end.

LOVE, LIGHT, and LIFE

Love brings light and light brings life! For us to breathe life we must first love. Love is the oil that fills our lamps to overflowing. Allow love’s light to SHINE! I have been to a very dark place where life was dead- a blackness of the soul. I was raised in the Christian faith but holding these beliefs did not help me. Choosing to live in faith through love did. Read my story ‘Discovering True Love’ and discover what I learned about the truth of love.

A Nation United or Divided

I know many are so tired of all the posts going on but I want to take this time to write as a third party, stepping out, viewing two boxed-in worlds. I will be viewing these two worlds as a Christian, a mother, and with love.

I’ve been reading and watching many political posts on facebook for the last couple of days. My heart has become broken for our nation. I’m not going to share who I voted for because of the division it creates from differing views. I love my family and friends regardless...
