Rachael had one desire when she planned a trip after her last semester of graduate school, and that was to go the Sardinia, Italy. And enjoy a romantic getaway with her boyfriend, but when send her text stating that they should take break. She spend her first night drinking at the bar, and demanding fired crabby things.
Crying her disappointment into glasses of expensive wine.
Ahmose had slept for a century since his beloved wife died in his arms, as Kemet warrior his only choice was to hold a blade within his heart and be laid to rest in the catacombs beneath rome. When he awaken in a metal box, confused he escaped into the dark midnight sea.
Lacking Mana, he calls out only to find himself staring into the dark-brown eyes of a young woman.
Rachael doesn’t know the first thing about the stranger that she finds in her bed, only that he’s an unneeded distraction on her “man-hate’ vacation, and that there are some dangerous people after him.
Will the two survive that chases them, or will manage to fight it off, while dealing with the growing passion between them.

Elisabeth doesn’t have the intention of joining the family business. Content with her book store, and life she merely stays her rode. Only knowing that she would never betray her family, or rat them out. After a recent break up, she has no intention of falling for anyone, especially when her mother is able, and willing to deal with anyone who breaks her little girls heart.
McCulden wants to break away from his clan, at least the thieving and cutthroat side of his family. Yet, finding it too hard to move out of the underworld he approaches the Anouk Group for help, and partnership. Only to be offered another offer, “Get my eldest married off.”
Taken aback by such a demand, he believes it will be easy, only to find himself dealing with willy and stubborn lass, who has no intention of being “married off.”
It’s not good when he starts falling for said lass.
Two stubborn people clash, one to maintain her normal life. Another whose eager to restart his.
