Reading and writing goals for 2019
This year I have a few resolutions that I have as a reader and an author, and I thought I would share them with you all!
As a reader:
I want to read more new (to me) authors. I tend to only read the same authors, waiting months and months for their new books, and never reading anything in between. this year I want to read different people.
I want to read more M/M fantasy. A lot of M/M books that I find are contemporary and I want to read more fantasy with some awesome M/M love stories.
As a writer:
I want to finish the Boys of Glensville series. I'm about half way through as I begin writing Wilson, and I have plans to have the entire series finished and released by the end of the year.
I want to continue to develop my skills as a writer. I really take reviews and feedback to heart, and you guys have no idea how much your feedback helps me I always read what anyone has to say and if there is room to improve, I always try to make those improvements. Feedback and reviews from my readers mean the entire world to me!
I want to start writing a continuous series, full length novel (hopefully). I have one in mind and I plan to start writing the first book to this later this year.
What are your reading or writing goals? I would love to know.

Wally Release Update
I am happy to announce that Wally will be releasing a few weeks earlier than I had planned, instead of March 15th, it will be released Feburary 26.
Wally and Gideon's story will be the start to two new series: One More shot and Marshall Siblings. The book will be released with two different covers, Gideon's and Wally's, but the story will be the same. Both will be released on the same date. (I hope all that makes sense)
I will have pre-orders up later in January, it will be 1.99!
Here is a passage from Wally and Gideon:
He puts two fingers under my chin, pulling me closer to him and capturing my undivided attention with his intense green gaze. “There is no one I would rather be at this thing with.” Then he captures my mouth with his, sliding his tongue inside, taking and tasting every inch of my lips. He tastes like wine and Wally, and I want more. I want so much more. I brace myself on his biceps, my fingers digging into the flesh as he devours me.

Timeline in my books
So, I have had a few messages that people get slightly confused considering the timelines of my books since I have my books go over multiple months and then the next book will start either right after that book or a few months after the book ends (for example Mason ends in July of 2016 and Alex picks up in August, but people thought Alex was happening while Mason was happening). I understand how this can be confusing especially as my different series are going to start getting tangled together, so starting with Wally I will be putting the month and year the book begins with at the beginning of the book and I will be doing this through out the rest of the series that are intertwined together.
So, to answer questions about the timeline regarding Alex. The story begins in August 2016 and ends in March 2017. Wally will pick up in March 2017, a week or two after the end of Alex.
Hopefully this will eliminate any confusion, but if you have further questions about timeline, characters, plot or you just want to say hi, feel free to contact me on Facebook or on here in the question section!

Alex is available! Announcements!
Today is the release day of Alex! I am so excited to share his story with all of you! Alex, Declan and Lucky's story has been a story I had planned writing from the very beginning when I had started writing Diego.
So, Some announcements:
The next story to be released will not be in the Boys of Glensville series, but rather in a new series, starring the guys (and girl) from One More Shot, which is first mentioned in Mason. Some of the Boys will be appearing in these OMS stories, so keep an eye out for them! In fact, the first book features around Wally, one of the owners of OMS and his love interest is someone who had appeared in BoG.
I am hoping to have Wally released in March.
The next BoG story will focus on Wilson who has been mentioned in both BoG and Marks Brothers. I am excited to share his story with you guys as well. The release date for Wilson is TBA.

Who are Alex's Love Interests? (Sneak Peek 2)
So, I've been a little MIA for the past few weeks, but it's because my computer broke. I have been working on Wally's story (I've been writing long hand. Hello, carpel-tunnel). But I have a computer now, and Alex is getting ready to release.
I decided this would be a good time to release the names of Alex's love interests.
Are you ready?
Drum roll, please!
.......
......
Lucky Dickson and Declan Jones. Now, if you have read Diego than you have met Lucky and Declan already. If you haven't...well, you're going to meet them now. I knew from the beginning that Lucky and Declan were going to be Alex's love interests (even before I wrote Diego), and I am so happy to share their story with you guys!
Here's the last sneak peek of Alex:
Declan leans back, looking at Alex with an intense stare. And it's there in that moment that I realize how utterly beautiful and perfect Dec and Alex would look together. The tension between them is so palpable, so hot that it makes my breath hitch.
Alex looks at me. “You're awfully quiet, Luck. Anything you want to add?”
My mouth is dry, but there is one thing I want more than anything in that moment. “Kiss me.”
Alex looks at Delcan, losing a little bit of his bravado, and asking permission if it's okay to kiss his man. Declan nods, kneading Alex's shoulder. “Kiss him, Alex,” he commands.
Alex steps forward, licking his lips. His eyes zero in on my mouth. I fist my hands in his mesh shirt, unable to wait any longer. My mouth comes crashing down on his, taking him in one fell swoop.
Pre-orders to start on the 22 of August! Release date is September 22!

How it all started.
I have known I wanted to be an author since I was 12. It started out in eighth grade English class when we had to write a short story for Halloween, and I have been in love with the writing process ever since. I wrote small stories when I was younger, drawing inspiration from R.L. Stine and the like, and even dabbled in poetry which helped with my depression throughout high school. I wrote a few YA stories and am currently working on a YA contemporary novel under another pen name.
When I was 15 I discovered I had a love for gay media. I found some MM literature on my kindle and sort of fell into a hole of MM books and movies. And that's where I have been living ever since.
I never imagined my love for gay media would lead to writing about MM books and sharing them with other people.
When I was 19 or 20 I wrote a short story about some college roommates who fell in love, it was called College Daze, and yes, it did see the light of day for 5 seconds. And yes, it wasn't very good. When I was 21 or 22 I wrote a short story about two best friends who fall in love, it was called Nice Guys Finish First. Yes, it was equally as bad as College Daze, and it also saw the light of day for a few seconds. (if you have read these, please don't judge me too harshly.)
The beauty of writing is that you can learn from your past failures and learn from the feedback that you get. That is why I love it when people tell me what has worked or didn't work when they read my books, looking back at College Daze and comparing it with what I have written recently, like Mason and Alex, it is amazing to see the amount of growth I have gone through in seven years. And a lot of that growth comes from taking the feedback and constructive criticism people give me and applying it to my next projects. So, to those who read my books and leave reviews, I thank you. You have no idea what your honesty means to me. Reviews help so much when you are a writer, especially if you are going the self-published route like I am.
When I sat down to write College Daze. I had no idea a seventy-five page story would spawn what I have written thus far and what I plan to write in the future. In College Daze I only mention August Marks once, but even just a name can spark the creative process. Right after I finished College Daze I re-read it and found myself wondering what August would be like as a person. Questions bombarded me almost daily: Who is August? Where is he from? Who is his family? What does he do for a living? What does he look like? So I sat down and made a character profile for August. I started with his physical features: tall, black hair, blue eyes, etc. I thought about his family. His mother who battled cancer, his father who was neglectful, his rebellious brother, and his adoptive brother (it was at this moment Gabriel and Dustin were born). Then I thought about the town that August would live in, and Glensville was born.
When I was coming up with Glensville I thought up of what my ideal place to live would be. I have always known that I wanted to live in the Pacific Northwest in a small town that was all inclusive. I have always been in love with small towns that are riddled with amazing, friendly people and mom and pop shops, like Star's Hollow in Gilmore Girls. Yes, I draw some of my inspiration for Glensville from that show. My dream, when I was younger, was to live in Star's Hollow or a town similar to it. That's still the dream.
After coming up with August, Gabriel and Dustin I got to writing, and secondary characters started to tug at my brain. Who are they? What is their story? And that's how the first five books of the Boys of Glensville series was born. I was halfway through writing Gabriel when I knew Diego, Caleb, Wilson and Alex were definitely going to get a story. I was in the middle of writing Diego when I knew Mason was going to get a story and when I knew that Boys of Glensville was going to be more than just five books, and then the Boys of Glensville series spawned the One More Shot series and the first book in a new series that I have yet to announce.
It's amazing how one short story I wrote when I was 20 spawned the Marks Brothers Series, the Boys of Glensville Series, The One More Shot series, and the first book in my unnamed series. One short story has inspired me to write eighteen other books, not including those that are not part of the series have mentioned above, and so for that I am grateful to 20-year-old Nicki and her disastrous short story about two college roommates falling in love.
But most of all I am grateful to my readers. When I started writing I literally thought only two people would read my books (my two friends that love gay media as much as I do), I never expected to have followers on here, and receive messages about how much people love my boys as much as I do. I never expected people to leave reviews and constructive criticism, so to those of you who have read my books and support me and leave me sweet messages, I thank you. I am grateful for you. Your love and support are what helps me continue writing when I come to a rough patch and stumble upon writer's block. I love writing and even without the love and support I would continue writing, but it's you, my readers, who make it so much more rewarding.
Thank you, and happy reading!
