So not only am I a "mature" hiker, I've seen lots of trends come and go for hiking gear, destinations, and techniques. It dawned on me recently that I should write down some of this trail knowledge and pass it along to other hikers, and those who might be interested in hitting the trail but need a few hints to get started.(less)
