The Ravenwood Universe
Ravenwood, is the fictitious small town in Maryland where my thriller, Mill Point Road, is set. It is also the title of the sequel. These two books form the start of my Ravenwood Series.
If you have read any of my previous books, then you may see a few familiar faces in the Ravenwood Series. Readers often ask me about the fate of a particular character (hero or villain) that they have enjoyed reading about. They want to know what happens to them later, after the story ends, and how they came to being, their ‘prequel-story’ so to speak. With the Ravenwood series, readers will now get the opportunity to have some these questions answered. However, you don’t need to read any of my previous stories to enjoy the Ravenwood Series. But, if like me, you want to know all the intricacies of an enjoyable character, good or bad, and want the best immersive reading experience possible then I suggest that you follow my recommended reading tips. It will only enhance your reading experience, which is my sole aim. For example, reading Hidden Justice either before or after Ravenwood. I recommend before.
There will also be crossover stories in future books and fast reads that I plan to write that will be outside of the main Ravenwood Series. However, as these books form part of the ‘Ravenwood Universe’ because they are based in and around
Ravenwood, they will display the same badge, “A Ravenwood Thriller” on the cover as the main Ravenwood Series does.
Does this mean that Ben Shaw, as part of his own, No Justice Series, will hitch a ride to or get off a bus in Ravenwood? YES
Does this mean that Carolyn Ryder from A Winter’s Kill, part of my Killing Seasons Quartet, will stumble her way into the streets of Ravenwood? YES
Could some of my future standalone thrillers be based in Ravenwood? POSSIBLY.
I will certainly continue to add to my other existing series and write more standalone thrillers without any reference at all to the town or inhabitants of Ravenwood. But it is also so exciting to have the opportunity to bring past characters together, who are set on different story arcs, as well as revisit some of my favorite friends and enemies who still have much to do and say.
