Midnight Realization
Last night, I woke up in the middle of the night to do fluid exchange, and realized I can't publish Flowers of Luna on 3 February: I've only written the first half of the book!
When the president of the Sankt Vladimir University motor club is found in pieces floating in the City water purification plant, Hana and Ran investigate. What they discover brings Ren, Maddisyn, and Makayla Gray running to Ran's side. In Lunagrad, the bad guys are about to discover they have messed with the wrong Space Family Gray!
April January fools!

Review Copies Away!
I sent out the advance review copies this morning. Technically, they're e-gallies, since I can't afford to send dead tree copies, as much as I would like to. But they're out there, and soon, the reviewers / book bloggers will be reviewing and or blogging.
Pressing send on that e-mail was one of the most difficult things I've done in recent memory. FoL is my baby; it's bits of my dreams and my soul pulled out, written down, and now, sent out into the cold, hard world to fend for themselves.
How will the world treat them?

Cover Progress
While I'm working on the final preparations for pushing the Advance Review Copy e-books out the electronic mail slot, my cover artist has been working on, well, the cover!

Delay of Game
Hey, folks.
I'm sorry to announce it, but I'm going to be pushing the publication of Flowers of Luna from the last week of January to the first week of February.
I'm getting ready to send out ARCs (that's Advance Review Copies) to reviewers in... ten days or so. (Yikes! January is zipping by!) and at least one of them felt that might be a little tight to get the book read and reviewed before publication.
So....
In related news, I'm sending out ARCs. If you're a book blogger or reviewer who reads and reviews New Adult and SciFi and F/F romance, drop me a line and the URL for your site, and I'll send you an ePub!

First Draft Sues
As I may have mentioned, my mother and I are making the cover image for Flowers of Luna. Why? Because I'm seriously broke, and a professional artist charges more than I'm confident I'll ever make from the book.
So, in the previous entry, I showed you the background. This time, it's the very first draft of the figures who will go on that background. There are a lot of refinements and adjustments to be made before anyone even puts scissors to fabric, so stay tuned!

Tangible Progress! Huzzah!
So, first of all, I have to apologize. I don't have an image hosting server other than Google, and Google Photos seems to have taken away the capacity to directly imbed an image hosted there into a post on another server. So, if you'd like a peak at the very first stage of the physical copy of the cover of Flowers of Luna you'll have to click that link. Sorry!
On the other hand, hey! Tangible progress! Physical pieces of physically present physical fabric physically joined together by physical thread! Woo! Physicality!
Yes; yes, it's true. I am a dork.

Cover Progress
Hello!
Today I made some progress on the cover, which was kind of surprising for me, because yesterday, I had to take my kittens to the veterinarian to get spayed, and today I had to go pick them up.
While picking up, the Vet Tech informed me that Grand Duchess Anastasia was in fact Tsarevich Alexei, and that he had not gotten spayed, but he had been neutered. Oops! That's what I get for respecting kitten privacy and not double checking what the shelter had told me!
Anyway, I suffer from severe social anxiety, and the whole thing was a bit of an ordeal which truly tapped my barely-existent reserves. So it was a bit surprising to me that I had energy and concentration to work on the cover.
Tomorrow's another high-stress day, alas, and I may not get back to working on the cover until the weekend. I remain fully committed to publishing in January, though, so thanks again for paying attention and watching this space!

The Authorial Voice
Hello!
I'm Jenny; I wrote Flowers of Luna, and I'm working on publishing it. Sometimes, I joke that if I'd known writing the book would be the easy part, I'd have taken a nap, instead.
Currently, I'm working on the cover. I have afiendish clever plan for the cover image, but it's taking me some time to create.
I hope to publish in January, and I thank everyone who has expressed an interest in my work! If you have questions, my ask me is open!
