Another good list… for Reviews!

Support for authors.

I told you that I love a good list. They help me stay focused. So the other day I had someone ask me where to find all my books so that they could be supportive and do some reviews for me. I thought that was so kind. Reviews and those little thumbs up and whatnot are all so important for authors. I know it might seem silly, but sometimes because of a review people pick your book up and give it a…

The Alien Love Series.

Writers write. Right?

My original plan was to end the Alien Love Series. Once Keltrix finds his sibling Fenton, well, that was it.

And then I realized that I am who I am. So… F-it, right? Writers write. Anyway, I am planning on writing seven more Alien Love books. I want to write a story for each of the offspring. I made a list. (I love a good list.)

I am only in the notes stage of this project so far. My time and…

One Strong Gale.

The next Ice Era Chronicle…

I am planning to send my editor my next book. One Strong Gale falls after 3:05 a.m. If you have read 3:05 a.m. you will know that Essie was learning French while he was hiding out in Fair Acres. When you read this next book, you might notice that Vin has picked up a little French too.

Here is a part of a chapter in the book:

***

When the light flickered, the glow cast the room into a macabre…

I meet myself in my books.

Not a Valentines post.

Sometimes, in the dark of the night, I stumble upon things that are dark or strange or that I can’t make peace with. I want to cry, and it hearts in my heart. In those moments, deep in my mind, I start a story. I think that some might consider my books very open shadow work. I am peering into my soul.

But it’s too scary for me. I’m a baby.

So, I give myself distance to look at it. I write about…

Writing something new.

A softer romance? Is that in my future?

I have this woman, a sort of friend, who wants me to write a hallmark romance that is soft and squishy and sweet.

It’s not that I hate the idea exactly. Sweet little stories have a place in the world. It’s just I don’t know if that’s what I want to explore at this time. I hate to say no and put in a hard boundary because I don’t know the future and maybe one day I will wake up and want to write…

Connor.

This is not a Valentine’s Day post.

I don’t know if you know this, but Connor doesn’t do a lot of blogging.

Once upon a time, Connor cut his wrist with a skill saw. He did not do that on purpose. That was always a bit of a joke with us. I mean you must be really hard core and planning to kill yourself if you use a skill saw to do it. But he was not trying to end his life. Simply, he put his hand down on a board while he was…

What to write…

Here we are again.

I used to whine about writing a blog. I would say that I don’t know what to write and who cares what I think anyway? Then one day someone said to me that I should sit down at my computer and pretend that I had a friend who was as interested in my writing journey as I am.

I started thinking about my two friends that I call when I need help. They are always interested in what I am working on. I…

The Novel Graveyard.

I have a file on my computer for all the books I have started and never finished. Some of it I might bring back like a zombie… some of the work will stay dead.

When I first started writing, I wrote a book where the character was surprised to meet a man. There was a lot going on in that story and one of my friends asked me, why are women and men separated? That was the birth of the Ice Era…
