Thomas E. Strunk is a teacher and author. Thomas currently teaches classical literature and history at Xavier University where he has been a professor for eighteen years. He has also taught junior high and high school. His writing explores nature and working-class life and strives to express the longing for spiritual, emotional, and political liberation of the individual and community. He is the author of the poetry collection Transfigurations (Main Street Rag Press, 2023). His literary work has appeared in The RavensPerch, Pensive, Pine Mountain Sand & Gravel, and Northern Appalachia Review among others.
